Part II Priest Abe Arganiosa, the Catholic Defender of Idol Worship, the moment of truth: to debate or not to debate Bro. Eli on TV

This is my fourth time to post about my comment to the author Priest Abraham “Abe” Arganiosa, CRS of the blog, “The Splendor of the Church“ who wrote “UPDATE ON CHURCH OF GOD INTERNATIONAL or ANG DATING DAAN SECT.” Below are my comments to him.

Let me just highlight two things, firstly, how Priest Abe showcased his ignorance with regard to his own idea and interpretation how Christians, in their present dispensation, should use the Holy Scriptures as a guide, for example, the offering of incense; secondly, Mr. Abe’s continued saving face by patronizing the word of mouth of his neophytes, colleagues, and enemies in faith’s gossips accusing Bro. Eli with a court case which was already dismissed by the Regional Trial Court in Pampanga, but was re-filed by the former Secretary of Justice, Raul Gonzalez. For any merits, if there is such existing, Priest Abe or anybody should not get involved with; or the court can place them all in contempt, but then again, Priest Abe can’t refuse to put his hands on it to muddle the issue.

Firstly, why did I say that Priest Abe showcased his ignorance with regard to how Christians, in their present dispensation, should use the Holy Scriptures as a guide? I gave Priest Abe two verses from the Book of Jeremiah, as expected he used it, even if it’s obvious that in context it is against the Catholic Church.

Jeremiah 18:15, 18 NIV

15 Yet my people have forgotten me; they burn incense to worthless idols, which made them stumble in their ways and in the ancient paths. They made them walk in bypaths and on roads not built up.

18They said, "Come, let's make plans against Jeremiah; for the teaching of the law by the priest will not be lost, nor will counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophets. So come, let's attack him with our tongues and pay no attention to anything he says."

Let us read what Priest Abe taught to his neophytes.

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [CONCERNING THE USE OF INCENSE. WE ARE USING INCENSE NOT FOR WORTHLESS IDOLS BUT FOR THE WORSHIP OF GOD AND FOR THE GLORY OF HIS NAME. WE ARE DOING IT INSIDE OUR TEMPLES AND HOUSES OF WORSHIPS. AND THIS IS IN ACCORD WITH GOD'S COMMANDS AND THE PASSAGES OF SACRED SCRIPTURES:

1 Chronicles 9:29 (King James Version)"Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices."

2 Chronicles 2:4 (King James Version)"Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel."]

Priest Abe read the word “incense”, which he overly emphasized and started to use in relation to make it appear that the Roman Apostolic Catholic Church is the true church that worships the true God. And he ignorantly used the same to give a quick judgment to Bro. Eli when his position doesn’t call for one, which I will later discuss.

But, have you read what the Lord revealed about those who forgotten him? Have you read the plans of those who burned incense in this verse and the whole Chapter, of what they planned against Prophet Jeremiah? On verse 19 it says, Listen to me, O LORD; hear what my accusers are saying! I have read in Proverbs something like these:

Proverbs 19:2,1
It isn't good to have zeal without knowledge; nor being hasty with one's feet and missing the way. Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

Priest Abe has been a Priest for a long time, but look at how his understanding of the Holy Scriptures didn't progress, how the Popes' past mistakes didn't change, they were just sorry for the Catholics who learned from them.

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [THE REAL PEOPLE OF GOD WAS COMMANDED BY GOD TO OFFER INCENSE IN THE TEMPLE. OUR USE OF INCENSE IS PATTERNED AFTER THIS BIBLICAL COMMAND. THE USE OF INCENSE WILL NOT BE EXCLUSIVE OF THE JEWISH BELIEVERS BUT ALSO OF THE GENTILES OR NON-JEWISH BELIEVERS OF THE TRUE GOD:

Malachi 1:11 (King James Version)"For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and IN EVERY PLACE INCENSE SHALL BE OFFERED UNTO MY NAME, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts."]

Priest Abe has mentioned of the thing of the past, just like what Moses wrote for the Israelites, then he conveniently made it appear that their use of the incense is patterned just like how it is said in the prophecy. Let us first read what did Moses write for the future when the times when his brethren will start to worship idols.

Deuteronomy 18:15 NIV
15The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.

Deuteronomy 4 NIV

25 After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time—if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the LORD your God and provoking him to anger, 26 I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed. 27 The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you. 28 There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.

29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him. 31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.

And then, some of the Jews have obeyed when they listened too, Saint Paul wrote about it.

Acts 3:22 NIV

For Moses said, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.

Acts 7:37 NIV

"This is that Moses who told the Israelites, 'God will send you a prophet like me from your own people.'

But the word of the Lord to Malachi concerns also the Gentiles and Heathens and the offering of incense in the future in what way?

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Revelation 8:4

The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.

It is the Christians who will understand these things through Jesus Christ. Please read how Saint Paul wrote to his brethren in the Church of God in Corinth.

1 Corinthians 12 NIV

¹Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. ²You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.

²⁷Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. ²⁸And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. ²⁹Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? ³⁰Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? ³¹But eagerly desire the greater gifts.
And now I will show you the most excellent way.

Priest Abe doesn’t know what he is talking about or trying to prove. Who should interpret such oracle, him, the idol worshiper?

Hebrews 8 NIV

¹The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, ²and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.

³Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. ⁴If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. ⁵They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." ⁶But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.

But despite of what the book of Hebrews states and the book of Jeremiah, Priest Abe followed the people who have forgotten God. Not only that, by blogging, he acted the way this people have planned, to attack using tongue and to pay no attention to anything the messenger of God says. Who offers incense and what is the incense in the Christian dispensation?

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [THE FACT THAT THE ADD IS NOT USING INCENSE MEANS IT IS NOT THE TRUE BELIEVERS OF GOD. THE ADD IS DEMONIC. THE TRUE BELIEVERS OF GOD ARE USING INCENSE FOR WORSHIP.

EVEN IN HEAVEN THE ANGELS AND THE SAINTS ARE WORSHIPPING GOD WITH INCENSE:

Revelation 8:3-4 (King James Version)

3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him MUCH INCENSE, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4And the smoke of the INCENSE, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

THAT IS EXACTLY HOW CATHOLICS ARE WORSHIPPING. PRAYERS + INCENSE. THAT IS THE HEAVENLY WORSHIP SHOWN BY ST. JOHN. UNLIKE THE DEMONIC WORSHIPS YOU ARE DOING IN YOUR COORDINATING CENTERS AND CONVENTION CENTERS.

AS SOLOMON OFFERED INCENSE IN 1 KINGS 9:25 SO THE ANGELS AND THE SAINTS OF NEW TESTAMENT OFFER INCENSE TO GOD. AND THE PROPHET MALACHI DECLARED THAT IT WILL BE DONE IN EVERY PLACE. WE CATHOLICS ARE THE FULFILLMENT OF THIS PROPHECY AND WE ARE THE TRUE BELIEVERS OF GOD.]

Priest Abe relayed to us that it is exactly how the Catholics are taught. Should Priest Abe had considered himself a Christian, he will follow the commandments for Christians and not for Israelites.

Priest Abe was overly enthusiastic to herald in his comments in his blog, the splendor of his Roman Apostolic Catholic Church that God did not build nor appoint Saint Peter as the cornerstone, remember that it is Saint Paul who ministered the Gentiles and Jesus Christ was the cornerstone. Is Priest Abe a Gentile and or a Christian, and or an Israelite?

Priest Abe even used King Solomon, but later on, by reading the Holy Scriptures, you will understand what happened to King Solomon.

Exodus 30 (New International Version)

⁷ "Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps. ⁸ He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the LORD for the generations to come.

God repealed the Old Testament, why does Priest Abe keeps on telling us that the Catholics are following the commandments of God when they are actually following the traditions of men, not from God. The Catholic doctrines are seemingly biblical, but it is not. They were following pagan and other traditions and just injected some of those that can be read in the Holy Scriptures. Remember also that the commandments of God to the Israelite waxed old. I pity Priest Abe when I read his comments that proved he doesn’t know the “incense” in the Christian dispensation under the high Priest which is Jesus Christ.

The more Priest Abe bad-mouth Bro. Eli, the more the nation of God in this time is known to the world.

Secondly, we can also see that Priest Abe keeps on highlighting his accusations to Bro. Eli, first was by word of his neophyte and colleague gossipers and his enemies in faith; he now deliberately accused Bro. Eli:

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [HINDI PALA NAGTATAGO ANG HALIMAW NA RAPIST DAHIL LINGGO LINGGO AY BUSSOG SILA SA ARAL MULA KAY MAMA ELI.]

Those are his several attempts to save face by trying to escape the safest way to debate for him and Bro. Eli in terms of debating via live TV broadcast, now that both of their safety is questionable due to third parties.

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [THE PROPHET JEREMIAH DIDN'T RAPE A FELLOW MALE THUS YOUR ATTEMPT TO PUT MAMA ELI ON THE SAME LEVEL WITH THE PROPHET JEREMIAH IS TOO COMICAL.]

Prophet Jeremiah neither Bro. Eli raped anyone. It is Priest Abe's accusation, he is using his neophytes and colleagues' gossips. It is Priest Abe who wrote his blog and shows how he worship God the way the people who forgotten Him.

Thank God for the events that transpired concerning the Members Church of God, an example of which was when Bro. Eli went abroad. God will show Himself Holy among them in the sight of the nations.

Priest Abe, people like you, judgmental and merciless are part of these happenings; I prayed that God gives you the grace to understand how great, merciful, just, kind, and loving He is.

Hebrews 9 (King James Version)

²⁴For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

²⁶For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Bro. Eli was just accused by the tongues of people like yours Priest Abe, but he remains to be innocent until proven guilty. Don’t convict Bro. Eli by your tongue. Similar to Prophet Jeremiah, they tried to kill him. I won’t need to prove this; I will quote your part in relation to Jeremiah 18:15, 18 NIV.

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [“JESUS DIDN’T HIDE. HE ULTIMATELY FACED HIS ACCUSERS THAT LED TO HIS CRUCIFIXION. HE FACED HEROD, PILATE, ANNAS AND CAIAPHAS. WHY CANT SORIANO FACE THAT MAN?”]

Fr. Abe, CRS said… [“DEFINITELY YES. I CAN EVEN DEBATE HIM FACE TO FACE RIGHT IN FRONT OF INC CENTRAL TEMPLE IN COMMONWEALTH IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. AND WE CAN EVEN INVITE THE JUDGE OF HIS SEXUAL CASES TO BE THE MODERATOR. HA, HA, HA… THAT WILL BE VERY EXCITING.”]

Romans 1:23 NIV
and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles

This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

As I said in my other post, Mr. Abe, the hypocrite, surely knows Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and yet, he wants something similar to take place. He is not worried of his life because MCGI are not taught to fight tooth for tooth. It is but himself who showed us that his support to anti-violence and pro-life is but a lip service.

The Catholics should know the statements of Priest Abe.

Ezekiel 16 NIV

⁴⁴ " 'Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: "Like mother, like daughter." ⁴⁵ You are a true daughter of your mother, who despised her husband and her children; and you are a true sister of your sisters, who despised their husbands and their children. Who does Priest Abe thinks he is? Why would he put himself and Bro. Eli in the position, not only them but the people who will go and watch if the debate will be held in front of the Iglesia ni Cristo? Pope John Paul II, whom he revered and called the Most Holy Father didn’t escape a gun shot wound.

Perhaps, Priest Abe didn't know yet that the enemies of truth are willing to sacrifice anyone just to prevent that the word of God spread. They are silent in fact as they read this.

John 7:19 NIV
Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?"

Priest Abe offers incense, how can he offer it when he is an idol worshiper? How can he offer incense together with his Catholic brethren when during offering, most of the Catholic politicians still commit graft and corruption; when Catholics' behavior is the same, while others turn to worse when they come in and out of their splendid Church? How can they change when blind leaders in succession lead them?

Leviticus 26:30

I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you.

Hypocrites! How can Priest Abe and his cohorts offer incense to God? They don't know what incense is in the Christian dispensation. They surely go back to those who have forgotten God, thinking that they were offering that to God but instead to idols and images. Priest Abe even gave King Solomon as his example. But at the end, what happened to King Solomon with the burning of incense just like Jeremiah wrote?

1 Kings 11:8 NIV

He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

Priest Abe would not know what incense is in the Christian dispensation because of the fact that he worship, kneels down in front of idols.

2 Kings 22:17 NIV

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and provoked me to anger by all the idols their hands have made, my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.'

2 Kings 23:5 NIV

He did away with the pagan priests appointed by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the towns of Judah and on those around Jerusalem—those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations and to all the starry hosts.

Priest Abe, pretends to know the literal incense, when he doesn't even know the Christian incense. I pity him and the Catholics because as the leaders in succession burn incense to their Catholic idols and images, the more they put themselves, both blind leaders and followers into the ditch.

Matthew 15:14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

Luke 6:39 He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?

Revelation 3:17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Bro. Eli knows what incense is as he is guided by the Holy Spirit, he sent by God. But Priest Abe, the more he interprets the verses of the Holy Scripture with his own human idea based on human traditions, the more he shows his ignorance about Christianity.

You are a priest Mr. Abe in your own understanding, but in the Christian dispensation, it's not you or any of your colleagues that burn incense for God. That you will never know unless God gives you the grace to understand.

Matthew 23:23 NIV

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

Isaiah 66:3 NIV

But whoever sacrifices a bull is like one who kills a man, and whoever offers a lamb, like one who breaks a dog's neck; whoever makes a grain offering is like one who presents pig's blood, and whoever burns memorial incense, like one who worships an idol. They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations;

Priest Abe and his splendor of a church, laugh, delight your hearts out, but I pity you, you have brought and continue to bring a lot of people into the ditch.

Revelation 18:11 NIV

"The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more— 12cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; 13cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep;

14"They will say, 'The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.' 15The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16and cry out:

And they will know that I am the LORD, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak—places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.

Jeremiah 11:12

The towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they will not help them at all when disaster strikes.

Priest Abe keeps on talking and spreading gossips and other gospels.

Ezekiel 16 NIV

17 You also took the fine jewelry I gave you, the jewelry made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them. 18 And you took your embroidered clothes to put on them, and you offered my oil and incense before them. 19 Also the food I provided for you—the fine flour, olive oil and honey I gave you to eat—you offered as fragrant incense before them. That is what happened, declares the Sovereign LORD.

But ignorance is pardonable. Bro. We have cleaved to the Church of God, the Church preached by Saint Paul.

Bro. Eli is being persecuted by the likes of Priest Abe. MCGI feel the same persecution because we are brethren in the Lord. This is my third time to post about my comment to the author Priest Abraham “Abe” Arganiosa, CRS of the blog, “The Splendor of the Church“ who wrote “UPDATE ON CHURCH OF GOD INTERNATIONAL or ANG DATING DAAN SECT.”. Below are my suggestions to him.

I suggest that Mr. Abe clarify if he believes that Bro. Eli is guilty of what he tackles here. If he does, then please tell us why. When he said that he thinks he is showing the signs of being guilty, was this his sole opinion or the opinion of his neophytes or some anonymous? If he doesn’t, then what is his own opinion or even belief about Bro. Eli? Especially, given the fact of how his case was dismissed then re-filed again.

Fr. Abe, CRS said... “PICTURES DO NOT LIE BUT YOU ARE. YOU HAVE SEEN A LARGE MAN IN THE PICTURE AND YOU JUDGE IT AS OBESE….”

Precisely, I suggest that Mr. Abe keep himself away from the issues he has no personal knowledge of, just like how he wanted those who have no personal knowledge of his well being neither of his gluttony. We see a picture of him.

Without accepting that Bro. Eli is guilty, as Mr. Abe portrayed him to be, while he himself is portrayed as glutton by some of his followers, and refused to be called one, then, let us not touch these sins yet, and let us focus for clarity of Priest Abe's intentions.

Fr. Abe, CRS said... “Quite obvious Bro. Aegis-Judex. He has not guts and no moral fortitude. As Bro. Parabanog repeatedly declares Eli is showing sigs of being guilty.”

I suggest that Priest Abe should stay away from his neophytes whom he considered as the sources of his impression that condemns Bro. Eli. I will tell him later the reason.

I suggest to Priest Abe to also stay away from Wilfredo Santiago's issues, neither to the INC if they were also his sources of his belief. I will tell him later the reason.

If Priest Abe thinks that he doesn’t deserve to be called a glutton, then why is he maltreating Bro. Eli? Why not try to consider the real issues here, is this his fight or not? Is this his quarrel or not?

The issues here is neither that Bro. Eli nor Mr. Abe are guilty or showing the signs of guilt. The issues here are as follows:

1. If Mr. Abe personally wants to help the victim, Daniel Veridiano, then, what is his purpose?

2. Whether Mr. Abe is riding in the popularity of the most sensible preacher of this time or not.

3. If Mr. Abe is just trying to relay what he heard from his neophytes like Beltran, OP or Parabanog or his brother Aegis-Judex; and, or from Wilfredo Santiago; and, or from the Iglesia ni Manalo, then what is the purpose of talking about a court case that was dismissed for having no merit?

Going back to the first issue, if Mr. Abe personally wants to help the victim, Daniel Veridiano, then, what is his purpose?

If the goal of Mr. Abe is to help Daniel Veridiano, then, it is but proper that he mentions that Mr. Veridiano was also accused of raping some ADD brothers. If these brothers are victims too, then, who is he really concerned with?

In this analogy, it will reveal that Mr. Abe is directly against Bro. Eli, by how much and in what way, he can’t say directly, he would need gossipers to prove his point.

It is a fact, that Bro. Eli Soriano's case was dismissed and it was justified that retaliation was the cause of such legal suit. Once it was re-filed by former Secretary of Justice Raul Gonzalez, then talking about the Merit of the case would put Bro. Eli in contempt. But these facts rolled off Mr. Abe like water off a duck's back.

On the second issue, whether Mr. Abe is riding in the popularity of the most sensible preacher of this time or not, may I suggest that Mr. Abe scrutinize himself and ask himself why write such vilification against Bro. Eli?

As a writer of such vilification, why is Mr. Abe using his neophytes’ gossips and the like against such a man already undergone such humiliation and trial by publicity? He was even using Mr. Veridiano, whom the court ruled that his purpose of filing law suit against Bro. Eli was to retaliate when he was ex-communicated from the Church.

We have no personal knowledge of Mr. Abe being a glutton. We have a picture, yes he is one of the leaders of the Roman Apostolic Catholic Church. But if he wanted to prove that he is not, then, there is a proper place we can arrange for the present consideration, which I will tackle later.

Lastly, if Mr. Abe is just trying to relay what he heard from his neophyte, Wilfredo Santiago, and INC, then what is the purpose of doing such?

1 Thessalonians 2:4
On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.

In this regard, I wanted to point out two points that Mr. Abe has failed to explain, was he pleasing God or was he pleasing men? I gave him a lot of verses above (previous comments) but one thing he didn't answer, about Pontius Pilate.

Mr. Abe even has neophytes who kept on bugging him to have something to do with the innocent Bro. Eli.

Priest Abe acted as Pontius Pilate against Bro. Eli and not only the gossipers and the other groups wanted him to have the same belief, but he carries such belief. If Mr. Abe sees Bro. Eli guilty of the crime, it would mean that Daniel Veridiano is the innocent one.

And if Daniel Veridiano is the innocent one, what is his concern with this man, is Daniel Veridiano a Catholic? Daniel Veridiano is an INC. Maybe, he wanted a world where different groups live together, praising different gods. But no, he also fights against INC.

In summary, it's clear that by putting down the innocent man, Mr. Abe is hitting two birds in one stone. Mr. Abe even mentioned of the "Art of War." If Bro. Eli is put into prison, or given to the INC, then, good riddance, right?
It shows that Mr. Abe has a game plan; it is not really to face Bro. Eli, but to get rid of him.

If that is the kind of game plan, or "Art of War" he sees his neophytes are getting good at, would it be the same that these neophytes knows Priest Abe's game plan?

Mr. Abe, is not in the position to say who has and has no guts or moral fortitude, because he have shown how he washed his hand.

It is evident that he already succumbed to a clamor. And what is that clamor? The clamor of a group of people who wanted Bro. Eli punished as guilty, when he is innocent. To Priest Abe, it is better to say that Bro. Eli is guilty, because it is easier for him to portray him guilty than to tell his brethren to hush. Why?

If Priest Abe considers himself as a kind of leader placed by God, then he should practice what he preach:

Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge."

May I suggest to Priest Abe that when he speaks, he should consider that in our present dispensation, whether he deny the fact that there are groups that wanted Bro. Eli dead or not, he should think of the greater good and the conservation of life, not just because I said so, but because it is his Catholic stand, that Pope John Paul II was sorry for, because he offended that since time immemorial.

At least may I suggest that Mr. Abe proves to us that he support such Catholic stand or even his Pope. Or his reverence to his Pope has its limits, just by words not in deeds?

Is Priest Abe sure that when he face Bro. Eli in front of Iglesia ni Cristo Palace, both of them are safe? If there's any doubt to the safety of them both, then, isn't it best to debate on live TV broadcast?

Fr. Abe, CRS said... "WHAT IS THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION? YES, I AM WILLING TO DEBATE HIM. WE SHALL DEBATE ONCE HE RETURNS TO THE PHILIPPINES. WE CAN EVEN DEBATE WHILE HE IS INSIDE HIS PRISON CELL."

Fr. Abe, CRS said... "JESUS DIDN'T HIDE. HE ULTIMATELY FACED HIS ACCUSERS THAT LED TO HIS CRUCIFIXION. HE FACED HEROD, PILATE, ANNAS AND CAIAPHAS. WHY CANT SORIANO FACE THAT MAN?"

Mr. Abe, the hypocrite, surely knows Jesus Christ's crucifixion and yet, he wants something similar to take place. He is not worried of his life because MCGI are not taught to fight tooth for tooth. It is but himself who showed us that his support to anti-violence and pro-life is but a lip service. Maybe he hasn't considered what he will be when he lose the debate on TV, it’s his own party that he will have to face, and he is avoiding what’s coming to him after the debate.

Fr. Abe, CRS said..."DEFINITELY YES. I CAN EVEN DEBATE HIM FACE TO FACE RIGHT IN FRONT OF INC CENTRAL TEMPLE IN COMMONWEALTH IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. AND WE CAN EVEN INVITE THE JUDGE OF HIS SEXUAL CASES TO BE THE MODERATOR. HA, HA, HA... THAT WILL BE VERY EXCITING."

Priest Abe is a defender of the Catholic beliefs in his own right, a host of his TV show. Why is it that he is making it sound that all he had worked hard for with his arguments defending his Catholic beliefs are all for nothing? Can he not show the same caliber that he shown to his followers on TV, when he finally debates Bro. Eli on TV? All he had worked hard for will finally pay-off for the moment of truth is at hand if he faced Bro. Eli on TV broadcast, live.

Let’s put it this way Mr. Abe is being used, he is the other bird. Technology is much safer when it comes to debate, broadcasting from two stations. Through a debate where everyone is safe from harm from third parties, we will find out who is approved of God, Priest Abe or Bro. Eli.

I find Mr. Abe as a priest who doesn’t know what he was talking about. He was putting MCGI in the bad light commenting about the information relayed to him by his neophyte Catholic Apologist named Beltran O.P.

From top to bottom, Mr Abe tried to question the decision of the Presiding Minister [Bro. Eli Soriano] of the Members Church of God International (MCGI), one was how he handled the rebels, which includes Willy Santiago and his cohorts; and the task given to the Vice Presiding Minister, Kuya Daniel Razon. He wrote of his opinion.

The deceased Pope John Paul II has said sorry for the mass murders done under the Roman Catholic Church leadership. One of the causes of these deaths was to combat or suppress heresy by eliminating factions and groups who disagree with the said Church. It was a Sunday Morning News entitled, "Pope John Paul II Makes Unprecedented Apology For Sins of Catholic Church."

These errors resulted in false doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II died without tackling other sins of his Church.

Mr. Abe, how did your forefathers handle the heretics in your Church? Need I remind you about that again? Did they show a poker face while some were put in the stake?

Who is fuming mad? Bro. Eli just showed how the early Christians practice justice and mercy among the brethren, even those who wants to follow Satan. Willy Santiago and his cohorts were given a chance to give their side but they opted to remain silent. Why?

Santiago, together with his cohorts were given to Satan because that is how they should be handled, biblical speaking.

Again, who is fuming mad? Mr. Abe, retaliation is not our walk, it's yours. We do not wear white clothes of hypocrisy. And your statement proves that you try to make the mass killings of your Mother Church , which your former Pope was sorry for better than the biblical teachings how biblical Christians should handle their rebellious companions.

The Voice from the East to the West, religiously speaking

There is really something about Filipinos. They said, it is the voice.

Charice Pempengco is the 16 year old Filipina singer, who was recently seen in one of the biggest TV stations in Italy, singing live. Before this, she was already proclaimed as "the girl with the voice" by Oprah Winfrey.

And I want you to know that another voice is now being heard, a Filipino too, and being watched in the United Kingdom. He is none other than Brother Eliseo Soriano. He is popularly known as Brother Eli, the most sensible preacher in our times. He has the voice, religiously speaking in this era of propagating the Word of God, as he answers every questions of people by reading the Holy Bible.

The TV station is Revelation TV under the TV program, THE OLD PATH. It shown every Saturdays at 8:30 - 9:30pm (BST) on RevelationTV (Sky Ch. 585).

Just recently, this phenomenal preacher had his Bible Expositions in UK. There are around 1000 - attendees. Brother Eli Soriano even spent his break time speaking with them. This is due to the long line of foreigners wanting to talk and to ask him, while others were truly elated to shake his hands and to give him a warm embrace.

As far as travelling is concerned, Brother Eli becomes the foreigner now as he is surrounded by those people who live there. And these people, like him, travelled some 400-500 miles by road or plane for just to meet each other.

Metamorphosis

I will change, it is inevitable. Flowers wither, leaves dry, both will kiss the earth.

We are dusts.

Day by day, we grow under the mercy of the world, though we have a colorful life, we are at a war zone.

Metamorphosis is a phase for caterpilars, this is after they felt the warmth of the sun's rays. The wind blows to them, those four winds.

Then, they hibernate. After which, they will wake up to the wind's embrace, and the warmth of the sun's rays.

Christians have this phase too, only that they chose the wind of teaching from the east, from the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

We then envelope ourselves into a cocoon, a phase that shall close in on us, sooner or later. Others will forget the things of this world of flesh, save them that are damned eternally. To those who knew the plan, we know that there is a time for everything, together with them that never really slept, the next phase of the great plan.

I am bothered, as this world tries to mutate our being from one phase to another while predators try to eat the life out of us as we crawl the branches of this materialistic world.

Some tends to hold on to this world and fails to focus on the real meaning of life. Have we asked ourselves of which reality we are sticking and crawling on to? There is a need to open our eyes and start to be curious, to discover that Nature has an instruction for us to follow.

We are servants, those that follow the instruction, not by our own understanding but by the Maker's will. Then, we shall be called His sons. Angels are not meant to marry and some of us will be like them. We will not become angels, but just like them - immortals.

The colors on our wings will shine. Would those be in blinding rays of gold or silver? I do not know yet, for these eyes of mine are yet to be in spirit. But I know that we are being purified to be like our Father and Brother, who are pure.

Nevertheless, I am truly grateful that I have a glimpse of what I can become. I need to further strengthen my wings for I shall fly sooner than anyone of you thinks. My wings are not ordinary wings, they are made of faith, hope and love and these are prepared by my Maker.

Thus, let us all weave the silk of faith, hope and love, while continuing to ask for His divine guidance.

The Lord's Supper

I attended our commemoration of the Lord's Supper a few days ago. While I am thinking about Jesus Christ, his teachings, I read some few verses from my previous post, and I realized that there are similarities to those events in those verses to what is happening now, religiously speaking. I said now, because compared to yesterday, the knowledge have increased. What you did not know yesterday, you might know now.

In other words, knowing the Lord's Supper in it's proper context, the more the passages in the Bible become clearer.

That is perhaps one of the reasons why a member of the Church of God was admonished to be critical to one's self, as written by Saint Paul in 1 Corinthians 11, before joining the said commemoration.

Yes, there are a lot of things to contemplate about. And I feel blessed because I know that being part of a group, that cleaved to the Church of God mentioned by Saint Paul, I am not confused on the teachings - I learn what I need in its proper time. Though unworthy, we, in the Church of God International, learned to know that God is love: He is Merciful, Just, and Righteous. Our God cannot lie.

Now, the following chapters and verses seemed clearer to me. If you will take into account the creatures, the objects, and the time elements mentioned, you will realize something. I believe this is not just an abrupt realization. It is because of patience, eagerness, and time spent on listening to the word of God. I wonder if my brothers can notice what I had, too.

Matthew 24:20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.

Amos 3:

15 I will tear down the winter house
along with the summer house;
the houses adorned with ivory will be destroyed
and the mansions will be demolished,”
declares the LORD.

Matthew 24:

27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

While there is time left, and while you are reading this post, take sometime to contemplate too if there is something very important in your life, that you have, that you want to remain, whatever happens to yourself, to the world you live in, or to others.

There is always a thief (one or many, whatever it's purpose) that can go to a house, (whatever kind of house you consider a house). Every person has a house, especially when you are a Christian. I am talking to the wise.

And those (whoever they are) who needs to prepare, should prepare (whatever is to happen) holding on to the word of God. I used the word need, because if you only want to do things and it is not your task, then you only worked in vain.

We never know, instead of sharing on the body of Christ, it is you who will be cut into pieces and it will be too late when you realize that you are in the church of the dead, with the hypocrites, and you too is fighting against the Truth.

With these I pray that I only do what I need to do. And whenever I am wrong, someone will be sent to correct me like to a loving father.

I am nothing, and these are just my observations. I will still wait for the prophesies and answers that I will get, in His time, while listening to the most sensible preacher of this time, Brother Eli Soriano and our brother Daniel Razon.

There are so many things, even the unseen and unknown, that we should be grateful for to the Living God of Israel. We are not the people who knows nothing. We have check and balance because we have the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us; we have Jesus Christ who will help us; and we have our Father, who loved us and who prepared the good way, where we will walk by. And so we say,

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift” (II Corithians 9:15)

This post is in response to the blog, Bible Baptist Sermons: Reaching God's Word Across the World Wide Web, by the name of Blogging Preacher, to his post entitled, Dishonestly Wealthy Preachers.

After this blogging preacher edited his subject from Brother Eli Soriano to Apollo Quiboloy, in his post, When Offerings Go Bye Bye. I thought he learned from his mistake, but I was wrong. He then made another post, Dishonestly Wealthy Preachers and put these two persons together as if Brother Eli deserves to be described and compared to the latter.

He thought that Brother Eli Soriano is wealthy in material things. Where did he get his data?
He said in his post that:

"...By looking at it above, I've seen sincere preachers like Pastor Armie Jesalva and family live simply. I've had visits to Pastor Ruben Lumagbas Jr.'s house and it's simple. I've gone to see Bob Hughes and it's not like what he owns.
SOMETHING is wrong. I mean, for a person to possess too much wealth without much beneficiaries- you've got to question it! This sounds Communist but it's
Biblical....."

Who told this blogging preacher that there is no much beneficiaries should Brother Eli Soriano owns those properties he mentioned in his blog? I know that almost all what Brother Eli possesses are under the name of the members, that is, MCGI. He only begs his brethren not to forget his relatives should God puts him to rest. Can you tell me if you know a preacher or a leader of a religious group that begs like this to his members? For your information blogging preacher, if you will see Brother Eli personally, you will know how simple his life is. Your preachers and your cohorts maybe living a simple life, but can they sleep very well? Brother Eli Soriano spent almost all his life awake, just so he can talk and share the wisdom God has given him. This is the only thing that he can be proud of, a wealth that no one can take, save He that has given to him.

I am writing this post so that people will have more information, correct ones, and that this blogging preacher is manipulating his blog in favor of himself. Why? The fact that he placed in moderation his blog's comment facility without the notice that despite of all accusations that he will receive, since he is an accuser too, he will still let the comments appear. He deleted my comments and even the short one under the name of Jane Abao. Justice should be served. Blogs should show two sides, not only his own side or own point of view. If he cannot show the other side in his post, then he should give the readers the comments area to express their side. What he is doing is not biblical. If you will read his blog-heading, you will realize that he is a liar because he doesn't act on what he preach. Word wide web is a communication gateway, and if you will just post a notice that that road leads to death and prevents people from correcting that notice, because they have been there and found life rather than death, you really belong to satan's cohorts.

What is bad about this blogging preacher is the fact that he and his cohorts convince people that they are poor, and thought they can get away with their poor understanding of the wisdom of God! Let me repeat that, in order to fool people of believing that they are from God even if they lack knowledge of the Word, they pretend to be poor people. Why? So that people will focus their attention to that fact or lie that they are poor materially. And in this disguise, they can get away with their stupidity about the wisdom that is in the Bible.

I have entitled my post, "What if you are poor in everything" to impart that being poor materially is not the absolute proof that you are in the right. I will read to you a verse that is very important to distinguish who is really willing to preach the Word of God. The Holy Bible has defined who God sends to preach the Gospel.

John 7:18
He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself,
but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

I am sorry to say blogging preacher that I pity you that you are poor in every good works. What more if you are really poor and no wisdom can be found from you? I pity you again. But the way I pity you is not just a lip service, but rather, I wanted you to be corrected, just as we in MCGI were corrected from our own imaginations. I hope you leave your selfish pursuit and I hope you can still wake up from your deep sleep, you sluggard.

Proverbs 6:

Brother Eli Soriano is poor financially, for your information, if you will just honestly make your research and use the world wide web for righteousness sake and just report! Brother Eli is the most sensible preacher today, and I continue to believe so whenever I encounter preachers like you, blogging preacher. I advise you to use the world wide web for the truth, not for dissemination of more lies.

Let us analyze what you are insinuating about how your cohorts are hiding your falsehood in the pretense that you are all poor materially.

If you will just use your head, logical and biblical, you will read in the internet how Brother Eli and Brother Daniel were spending even their own income to manage financially, spiritually, socially, and culturally their members and non-members. With the help of their brethren, more importantly, with the help of God, built free transient homes, established free medical missions, free bus and metro railways ride, etc.

After proving that Brother Eli is poor, materially speaking. You will read also that he is even poor in getting justice from his own country, because he can't obtain it in the Philippines, so that you will know. Whilst you blogging preacher and your cohorts are poor too, as you said. Then, what else? What other proofs or factors that will show who among you are telling the truth? It is the teachings that separates the liars and the sent man of God. If we will base the lowliness of a person because of his material wealth, then, let us consider you and your cohorts and Brother Eli. Second, who among you are preaching using your own imagination?

All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people,
who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations-

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the
counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not

Thus, if you and your church share the same imagination, and ignores to walk in way that is good, then you are not qualified to preach the gospel to all nations. You cannot even teach your own household. You cannot even take out the log that is in your eyes and yet you are trying to do what you cannot do to yourself!

Brother Eli will remain on top of the qualification in this period as a man, as a human, who holds the key to the Holy Bible, why? Because he speaks in every tri-media, in every means and ways, even in the internet, to fight the wild imaginations, that people carry these days, which are falsehood and against God, despite of his being poor.

Ezekiel 13:2
"Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are
now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: 'Hear
the word of the LORD!

"Now, son of man, set your face
against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination.

The MCGI is in pursuit of holiness and wants people to be freed from their wild imagination and instead to move forward to the obedience that is in Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;

"And I, because of their actions and their imaginations, am about to come and gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see my glory.

Did you get it? Have you realized how important thoughts are? Thoughts and what is in the heart are intangible, unless you put it into action that you will reap its benefits, holiness in good deeds. Good works is the manifestation of obedience, not to the law of Moses, but the obedience in Jesus Christ, being the one who carried with him all the commandments and instructions of God. We are being made perfect and perfection has its stages. From knowing who God is, to knowing that He is Love and He is merciful and He cannot lie. The fact that you call Jesus Christ as Jehovah is a proof of your non-biblical understanding, blogging preacher. If only you will consider your blindness and try to find help how you can see, and hear, and understand who God is, then, you will be able to multiply your talent, if you really have one. The talent that God gave to his reader will give you an idea, who really is that person who received it and up to now spreading it around the globe. That reader is Brother Eliseo "Eli" Soriano.

Those who obey the law will be declared righteous. What law? Is it the Law of Moses; Elijah perhaps? Or the Law of Faith, what else? What are examples of what gentiles do by nature things required by the law? These are Justice, Mercy, and Charity or Love.

6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor
uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing
itself through love.

16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature.
They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

In these regard, there is no law against the fruit of the Spirit. Do you have the fruit of the spirit? If you say that you have the grace and already saved and you do not have the fruit of the spirit, then what will you inherit from God? Do the Jehovah you know is the Jesus Christ who sent the Spirit that gives you fruits?

Did you put your hope and trust to the same Jesus Christ? Where is your faith, to the same Jesus Christ, or to Jehovah? Is God and Jehovah are one and the same? Is Jehovah,
Jesus Christ and the Father are one and the same?

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of
childbirth right up to the
present time.
23Not only so, but we ourselves,
who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly

Why would you insinuate that tithes or 10% is alright so long as the church is using it rightly or you give it willingly or heartily? While you never gave your stand that after the Levitical priesthood, tithing was repealed. A corrupt ministry is the one who accepts money or any favor from it's members or anyone but has not taught what is being commanded by Jesus Christ. You are a liar, or you just have not discerned what is right in the sight of God.

Are you still under the priesthood that never lasts?

11If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood
(for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there
still need for another priest to come—one in the
order of Melchizedek, not
in the order of Aaron?
12For when there is a change of the priesthood, there
must also be a change of the law.

18The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19(for the law made nothing

You see, even Levi gave the tenth. But since it is Paul who learned that from God and Jesus Christ then let us ask him what to do instead?

It is you who practice corrupt teachings here and you are not moving towards perfection! You should teach first that it is only a commandment to the Israelites, but was changed when Jesus Christ started to teach. Though you insinuate that your Church accepts tithing, you did not clarify if you teach that it is no longer a commandment to the Christians. Then, it depends on your heart if you will give or not.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

When it comes to obedience to law: like tithing, you should assess yourself if you are doing what Peter did when God said to him, listen to Him.

1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

transfigured before them. His face shone
like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.

3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

and a voice from the cloud said,

No matter how good the intention of Peter, but if it is not in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ, given by the Father, then, he should not force what he thought is right, but instead should listen to Him.

So, it is important that you teach what is commanded instead of interjecting and forcing your own opinion. Once you understand how to give, then give according to the heart of a cheerful giver. Jesus Christ is our everlasting priest and teacher.

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means
salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God
gave him. 2 Peter 3:15

Paul preaches to the Jews of what and what not to do to be consistent in the commandments of God that is in Jesus Christ. Thus, if you are following a certain Jew tradition and commandment that is not in conformity to Jesus Christ teachings, then stop it. If you are following a tradition and faith or of Christian denomination, or an aggregate teachings and faith of different Christian sects, it is commanded for the one who wants to know the truth to weigh two things to know the reason and test the spirit; examine the scripture; examine the doctrine if it's biblical, consistent.

Again, you have no firm stand if you are against tithing or not because you need that in order for your baptist church to survive. Is it biblical?

You said to your other posts that, "A lack of wisdom is greatly detrimental to the nation's progress," but I say, a lack of wisdom makes even your church members evil. I hope you are aware of what you just claimed before you preach.

We can distinguish a preacher who lacks wisdom by this: For the one whom
God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

John 3:34

13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved."

14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And
how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can
they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach
unless
they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those
who bring
good news!" Romans 10.

You are a kind of a preacher who gives your own opinion, "a matter of chance" which results to inconsistencies when you tackle everything about faith. You mentioned of your ill-favor of treaties with the Vatican; you do not agree with 10% tithes; you do not want abortion, etc. Because you think that all of these is a manifestation of not submitting to God's word. But you yourself is not submitting to God's word when you call Him Jehovah! I will talk about this as we move on.

You create an impression of a pathetic person crying wolf, because you failed to have a concrete explanation why you do such sermons, and instead you are a Pilate who washes your hands with your own righteousness, so long as you said your peace. It is
neither a peace that comes from the Christ, nor you impart love, brother. Know
the teachings from Jesus Christ first, not from your grass roots, specifically,
the baptists, before you can teach to other people.

You still believed in Jehovah, which in your Baptist Bible confirmed that you invented such a name.

16Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent

comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18He who speaks on his own does

You see, these Jews wanted to kill Jesus when they are subjected
to the Law of Moses that says, thou shalt not kill. Jesus himself gave us a new
law, teachings, and commandments which we need to follow, which will keep us
away from hypocrisy and self-righteousness. This law came from the Father who
sent him. And now that Jesus Christ sent his disciples according to Matthew
28:19, they have written what to be taught to those who wanted to be Christians,
not just by words but by deeds. Jesus said, pray unto this manner, "Our Father
in heaven...." Did He mention Jehovah?

I see you as an emerging baptist preacher, an individual thought that you are different from the rest of your grass roots, the baptists. You might have thought that you are on a higher level of understanding, compared to them; perhaps, because you teach non-10% tithes. etc. However, you are still under the Jehovah principle. So, you are still considered blind and you can't give sermon to your followers, because at the end, they will remain confused.

You are self appointed, but since you seemed not for monetary gain, then, your might have the chance to be indoctrinated, and learned more of the teachings of Jesus Christ, not your own teachings.

Do not include Brother Eli Soriano as one of the anti-religion leaders. Because if you will just give yourself a break and hear him read the teachings of Jesus Christ, then, you will be a witness yourself, that there is still hope for those who believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from
God. 2 Corinthians 2:17

Believers are those who does not avoid the 10 commandments because they are not really killers, they can't even swat a fly. But instead, they, believed that good works is a manifestation of a living faith. An example of manifestation of your belief to God through Jesus Christ is this, you learn to love people now in contrast to what you were before. Before you heard and accepted the gospel, you hate people, or even if you do not hate them, you just don't care. You live in the four walls of your room - you eat, you drink, so long as you do not harm anyone, you consider yourself as a good person - there is no willingness to share your food and water, you just mind
your own business. And you thought that you are doing good. But when you heard
the Baptist doctrine, did your principle in life change? Or you are the same,
love your own?

19Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to
those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held
accountable to God.
20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his
sight by observing the law;
rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been
made known,
to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22This righteousness from God
comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no

29Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too?

30since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith?

Rather, we uphold the law. Romans 3.

The Law of Faith, or the Law by this Faith we uphold the law. If you are still the same, and the teachings you have makes you hate people not inside your church, then your faith is considered dead. If your faith is dead, then you are not doing your task as a Christian and you are still expecting that you will have eternal life?

But the pure and undefiled religion is this:

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look
after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being
polluted by the world. James 1:27

How would you consider charity when people will listen to
your sermons, they impart that it is no longer needed for salvation because of
grace. May I just remind you that before you can believe and have faith, you
need to listen and listening is by the word of God.

15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace?
By no means!
16Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are
slaves to sin, which leads to death,
or to obedience, which leads to
righteousness?
17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to
sin,
you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were
entrusted.
18You have been set free from sin and have
become slaves to righteousness.
19I put this in human terms because you are weak in your
natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in

The Holy Bible says that God wants all men to be saved. But then, you will give a sermon that Jesus Christ is the only way, or by faith alone that we are saved. The implication of these claims results to incomplete teachings, that do damage to the brains of people: moral, socio-economic, political, and spiritual aspects are negatively affected.

By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he
was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead. Hebrews 11:4

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
James 2:17
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26

If you think when we talk of works, we are talking about just
the ten commandments and just trying to be self-righteous, then you are wrong. Hypocrisy has been identified already and an example are those priests mentioned by Jesus Christ. They boast of giving alms to the poor, but what they give is just the excess of their wealth, and they do commit murder. They wanted to kill Jesus Christ and the disciples. How can you boast that you are following the commandment, thou shalt not kill or steal, when your very nature is not a murderer and a thief? Unless you are a thief and you don't steal, you can boast but not for self-righteousness but you can boast in the Lord who helped you to
do righteous deeds.

20by a new and living way opened for us through the
curtain, that is, his body, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur
one another on toward love and good deeds.
25Let us not give up meeting
together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one

39But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of

Being a thief before and avoiding that kind of work for the sake of your love to your brother is a good deed, a faith manifested. You will need to work your hands in righteousness to feed yourself, your family, your brothers and sisters, and helf the propagation of the Church by working righfully.

This is what the LORD says: "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or
the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches,
Jeremiah 9:23
but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 9:24

By the way, have you seriously studied and observed your members how they live their lives? I once had a neighbor, a baptist family, and they are hypocrites. They are good only to their own, but they do not care of people outside their church. Yes, they care for people who they wanted to convert, because sooner or later, they will be a family. But that is all. There is no genuine concern and charity. Please read the true teaching of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 25 (New International Version)

³⁴"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. ³⁵For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, ³⁶I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

To quote you, because you yourself is in conflict with
your teachings. Isn't this good works?

"...So likewise God-fearing American parents should not be afraid to do biblical discipline on their children of they are wrong even if the state declares it illegal. Why? Because
such a stupid policy allowing liberalism, divorce and abortion to run wild is destroying the U.S. and making it another Sodom and Gomorrah...."

And yet you are against good works as an important part of salvation to have eternal life.

27The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.

28A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor
is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. Romans 2

What biblical discipline are you talking about when you believe that
good works is not necessary for salvation? Or you are just confused to what is saving grace and what is receiving eternal life? Remember, those that are not under the Law of Moses will be judged according to the Law inherent in them, in their hearts. This law is written by God in our hearts through Jesus Christ.Therefore, we should listen to Jesus Christ.

19Repent, then, and turn to God,

so that your sins may be wiped out, that
times of refreshing may come from
the Lord,

20and that he may send the
Christ, who has been appointed for you—even
Jesus. 21He must remain in
heaven until the time comes for God to restore
everything, as he promised
long ago through his holy prophets.

22For Moses said,
'The Lord your God
will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own
people; you must listen to everything he tells you.

23nyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his people.'

We are turned from wicked ways if we believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. But this faith is learned by listening, and listening by the word of God. The absolute meaning of salvation is in God, not Jesus Christ "alone."

"Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the
Gentiles, and they will listen!"
For two whole years Paul stayed there in his
own rented house
and welcomed all who came to see him. Boldly and
without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 28:28-31

What about Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ taught the apostles and the witnesses who the Father is, who the Son is, and who the Holy Spirit is. They are different from each other but has the same goal. The Father is Greater than the Son. Jesus Christ taught of the manner of praying; charity; religion; faith; hope; brotherhood; justice; mercy; respect; the fruit of the spirit; etc.

4So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead,
in order that we might bear fruit to God.
5For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies,
so that we bore fruit for death.
6But now, by dying to what once bound us, we
have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way
of the Spirit, and
not in the old way of the written code. Romans 7.

And all of this you will hear from Brother Eli Soriano which are not lip service, but rather we live by these through the help of Jesus Christ. We practice our faith. We train ourselves for the world to come.

While the world is awaiting for the moment when President-elect Barack Obama will be placing his left hand on the Holy Bible, to take the oath of the highest office of state, MCGI’s major coordinating centers in different parts of the globe are in their second day of welcoming souls who are searching and finding interest to learn about the said best selling book of all time.

Live coverages are being done from everywhere focusing in Washington DC, USA, for the billions of expecting people to hear Obama's inaugural address: his statement of hope for his people, as their leader.

Consequently, some are studying to learn more about the God of Israel, whom they seek for hope and peace of mind. By Wednesday, MCGI will serve these people for the third day of the free indoctrination, not only in the Philippines, but also to the rest of the world, God willing.

While different parts of the world are crossing their fingers in support to the 44th President of the United States' leadership to solve their economic problem, there are people who are ready to surrender to the God through His Son, Jesus Christ: by hearing and hearing, learning the faith of the Son of God.

Economic turmoils are being experienced throughout the world, and this is manifested on what people are doing now. There is a direct relationship to these variables: recession, immorality, poverty, and death. As the recession reaches its peak, these variables are increasing geometrically. In order to survive, people seemed to be putting their hope to a single person. However, they failed to see that the Holy Scriptures to be used for the oath taking has the answer for the world's economic problem. Economic recession is a visible force manifesting today, but the grass root of the problem is unseen through the naked eye - false faith and idolatry.

People are seeing a magic to Barack Obama's speech, people trust him for his intentions for the economic recovery of the United States of America, as a leader. They hope to have a domino-effect to the surrounding countries that do business with them.

Almost all of the USA and other countries' past presidents are intelligent people who believed that they need a Holy Bible to express their honest intention, as leaders, in fulfilling their promise to make their country great in the future - but that is all. And it seems that it only served as a big book; a decoration nowadays, for most of the people have no deeper understanding of the gospel that Jesus Christ brought from the Father.

It is high time that the decoration that they used be utilized for its truthful and rightful purpose: to follow the doctrines it contains, the words of God - His love for mankind.

The MCGI National Choir, MICs, and Brother Daniel Razon sing several Tanging Awit (Special Songs of Praise) after Brother Eli Soriano lead the closing prayer, to bid farewell to their brethren who came from different parts of the Philippines, as well as those who monitored the event all around the globe

The Members Church of God International (MCGI) celebrated once again by offering sacrifices of thanksgiving, an International Thanksgiving to the Living God, the God of Israel, the God Almighty. The Ang Dating Daan/The Old Path Convention Center in Pampanga, Philippines served as the main location of the gathering as well as the HUB for those locales around the world that will have satellite monitoring and streaming. This is an experience truly unique, as the technology considered negatively favored by other religion is being used to glorify the Father, God Almighty. This three-day-thanksgiving started last 27 of December at 6 am and ended 29 around 12 am, Philippine time.

Our Presiding Minister, Brother Eliseo Soriano lead the closing prayer, we all were in the praying position facing towards the east. After which, I found myself singing in the left bleacher too, as the National Choir, MICs, with Brother Daniel Razon (Vice Presiding Minister) sang several Tanging Awit songs bidding farewell to our brethren, as they slowly packed their things up preparing to yet another journey back home to different parts in the Philippines, as well as those who monitored the event around the world via the internet.

And now that I am home, I cannot help but reminisce my experience in this wonderful event. The MCGI celebrates this feast, not a typical one because no where in the world can you find Christians having a pilgrimage from around the world to celebrate the feast for the God of Israel, Jesus Christ's Father.

Traditionally, the MCGI gather in ADD Convention Center for two consecutive days each quarter of the year. Some of the brethren who filed appeal for lifting of their suspension for committing sins where forgiven in front of God's people, while some of them were advised to continue what they were taught on the teachings of God and maybe next year, they will be forgiven too. Even in the consultation time, some were outright forgiven even without the appeal as Brother Eli talked with them and see them fit to be forgiven based on circumstances, evidence, and biblical situations with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. An officer was suspended too from his duty for one year when he said something that is unbecoming for a Ministry worker toward his locale members, while another one was absolved: these were finalized after Brother Eli has heard more than three locale officers and members who narrated what happened, having the first hand information, being eyewitnesses themselves.

During this event, you could observe the people of God from around the world simultaneously giving thanks to God. Based on biblical facts, The MCGI are considered God's people, which are called by His name, who humbled themselves, and prayed, and sought His face, and turned from their wicked ways. We were hoping and praying fervently that God will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin, and will heal our land. Brethren in Ghana, Africa and Papua New Guinea made us realize how God's work magnifies in our own eyes as the years went on as Brother Eli moves from one country to another to share the Love of God to His people.

A line up of activities consists singing of special songs of praises and hymns, and biblical topics being discussed by Brother Eli Soriano and Brother Daniel Razon. No religious group, except the MCGI, can you experience the overflowing words of God in the Bible being revealed through its Presiding Minister as well as several topics that none of other religion had tackled or can consistently discuss and elaborate based on biblical passages.

I finally found answers to my previous post, as expected.

That is, to always bear with all my mind, my soul, and my heart that God is Love, and all the teachings that I have learned from God written in the Bible through the reading of Brother Eliseo Soriano will all fall in their rightful places. My duty is to serve God, and knowing that God would do the same made me realize how fortunate His people and angels for having such Creator.

I learned that human ills will no longer plague me if I fervently side with the truth that is in God and shown it through good works with love - as there is a God who loves me and every man on earth, and every creatures.

The next International Thanksgiving was announced before the third day of the celebration ended. It will be held on 25 - 27 March 2009, God willing.

A Lucid Dream

Some people think that they can fly or even have an out of the body experience. But I learned that the most logical reason for this is when an evil spirit gets into your body, he can make you feel the same way he feels.

For me, when stressed out from work, I always look forward to dream from my sleep. In my lucid dreams, I fly. More often than not, I tell myself, "I shall fly tonight!" Well I might be very tired that is why I feel that.

I dream of gliding in the wind, the more it blows, the farther I go. Sometimes, I fail to fly no matter how hard I try.

My dreams about flying has one thing in common, I am aware of what is happening, but I cannot recall all the events that transpired whenever I wake up.

I know and I am working hard, preparing for the take off. It shall soon happen. It is the ultimate air travel of the chosen men in the clouds, the day of Jesus Christ's descending from heaven and finally meeting Him in the air. God willing, I shall be really flying soon.

Homo, as a rational being

Imagine yourselves in pain of having the gender that you did not ask for nor dream of. I learned to hate myself whenever I imagine that. Or maybe it is the indifference caused by negative connotations that follow it. More so, when authorities in this field usually insinuate that being a homosexual is tantamount to condemnation or eternal damnation to hell.

Can I really change, that is, to long for my opposite sex instead? I do not know, but what I know is that it has always been a part of my prayers that the emptiness that can only filled by the same gender be filled by His grace. Even the pre-conceived ideas that day by day taking my sanity. I am asking God to change my thoughts.

I find rest in Romans 8. To wit a verse, Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

It is by learning my purpose in life that I am able to accept my gender. Part of being gay is being human having an extra strength, curiosity, and open-mindedness. I think that whenever in pain and sorrow, I become one with my self, my consciousness. I can wake up from the reality where everyone has his role to play, a circus of clowns and deceptions.

I love my God, that One that cannot lie. And I know, I am man enough, to realise and accept a part of the Truth that some has been blinded to recognise. I am not a man made from His own image and likeness when I talk only about myself. I become "a man" because I am part of the body where the Head is Jesus Christ and the body is my fellow brothers in the church.

I believe that I am not of this world with materialistic point of view. I am also eternal, and it was grabbed from me. The right was stolen from me. And I have the right to take it back. But how can I do that?

Again I quote, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Homosexual and clean living

The term homosexual, defined outside the bible would mean a lot of things.

It can hurt people. It can cause suffering, not only to the subject (the homosexual) but also to the people around him/her. It can even cause death.

For me, homosexuality begins when a male starts to take notice of a quality/s of another male (same sex). And then, he becomes curious to this new found feeling or emotion, something about that man stimulated his emotion.

But who are we to judge if this is moral or immoral? Everyone feels the above example whether his stimulation was caused by a male or a female. Everyone desires someone.

But desire can mean many things. Love can mean so much too.

Actually, it also depends on the upbringing of the person how he uses the new found stimulus or sensation, whether to perversion or just inspiration.

Perversion starts after taking notice of your opposite sex and then desiring him sexually.

Therefore what makes homosexuality immoral or unclean?

Let us not forget the basic truth regarding homosexuality.

Romans 1:

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Jigsaw puzzle of Life

I have been trying to solve my jigsaw puzzle of life before I became a member of ADD(Church of God Int'l).

As I play the puzzle, it was seldom that I placed the pieces correctly. I see myself exhausted finding out that I spent so much effort on putting the pieces together, big pieces were forced to fit a small space. But I thought I have completed that part of the board and ready to complete the other side of that one whole big jigsaw puzzle. More often than not, when I finally place some pieces correctly, I then found out that the colors does not much.

But now I learned that I have been using two big different jigsaw puzzle pieces together with those of the other small ones. And I have been following a set of rules of a Rubik's cube to finish my jigsaw puzzle. In addition to that, I had been listening to those who watches me, those who, indeed, has no idea what the picture on the puzzle looks like.

Before, I thought that Jesus is the person of three Gods. I thought that being gay is tantamount to condemnation to hell. I thought that my religion is the only true religion and everything outside of it are all anti-Christs. But we were taught that we do not need religion to be saved, we only need to believe!

And believing these, a lot of questions pops up to my mind. It is unfair that god created me to be "gay" but I am not happy and yet I am bound for hell. It is so unfair! If Jesus is the only God, why was it that in the bible, one talks to the other as if there are two individuals, one speaks and the other listens? Why are there so many gods even in literature?

I am on my way to finish my jigsaw puzzle. I have the right jigsaw puzzle board, the reality and my life too; I have the jigsaw pieces comprises of the truth that I need to accept, learn to complete my being; and the right direction, the bible and His divine guidance.

As I am currently playing the jigsaw puzzle of life. I can now distinguish the size and even the color of the piece I am holding, unlike before.
Some pieces of the puzzle has been correctly placed too.

And I am not the only one playing the puzzle, there are a lot of us, together, putting the small and big pieces in its right and proper places. Our beliefs in proper prospectives.

Should I find it hard to put a piece, I am truly grateful that there is someone who can direct me, bro Eli Soriano and with the help and mercy of our God.

Would there be any possible that what you teach is wrong? Or what people read is wrong? Because isn’t that the Bible is written by man. And man may commit mistakes. (Typography, choices of words) And man being man may have written additional, or omitted the lines in the Bible. Moreover, why should we follow the teachings in the Bible? Isn’t there any other book from GOD and/or by GOD? I am a person asking to be free from worries if what we’re reading the Bible to be the book that will save our souls. I want to know why we should believe in the BIBLE. I want to know why I should invest my soul on a book. And if there is any other GOD given MATERIAL that could save my soul. Please tell me.

What knowledge have man been pushed to live in/with/by the Bible? Because sometimes on the back of my mind (without any CONCRETE basis), it comes to my mind that GOD is good, and for HE is good, HE gave man freedom. (To do as he like, to decide, to… etc) And for that, man will be judged to what he was before judgment day. I believe that there is a SUPREME BEING (GOD) far more greater than of this world. But I am confused. So what, if there is a SUPREME BEING? “Ok, there is a Supreme Being. Now what should I do?” Is there any guideline? Then, it comes to my first paragraph on top. Again, why the Bible? Isn’t there any other guide? I am lost. I am sorry.

The deeper we hop, swim, even dive in the abyss of wonder, to wander which is tantamount to the desecration of being human, not necessarily a rational animal but curious living creature, the more we let go of blush from our face that partially reflects how we can be brittle despite becoming malleable and truly dynamic, an adaptation, an effect of colonialism.

We become obsessed of what we can say and preach nonetheless forgotten to think and accept that not all is chosen to be the temple from which His divinity will oscillate to the benefit of those ears that learned to digest what not of this world but that manna originating from His grace.

We are impregnated of two realities asexually that we tend to be numb as we become the fetus, the mother, the slave of obscenity of which we take leisure of. We never dare to wake up or even twink an eye with the fear, worse, the pleasure of machinist wanting as heroes, forced to play a role opposite that which was written.

Our dilemma has no holes but thorns that prick our fate threaded from malicious faith we treasure, and offer, to our temple where idols blossoms like weeds that masturbate our insanity that we never really intended to ejaculate but so many a thought that sprang out of it that we never managed to contain therefore it bursts as poison within.

But the father of this world never rest to adulterate and create the pagan state from which he finds possession of life that never really his, followers that blindly lead by a blind, a fool's gold anonymity.

Until, The Voice reverberated to the walls of lead, that obstructs the sense which was long and overdue almost forfeited, we found a hole from which we took a deep breath we came and freshen our humid mind.

haste, speculation and ignorance

The Bible, the Christians' Holy Book, is both an exact and a spiritual science. I have three things to say on the implications of making haste, speculating, and ignorance of the bible.

First, what I understand from this post is that it imparts a basic truth, that people tend to make haste on understanding what they read without challenging themselves of the implication of such action and finding out whether an idea they tend to share and insist to be the truth is a lie for it creates conflict to another basic truth.

Second, we should never speculate and think of what ifs but rather we should focus on what is, the status quo and what is written, provided all of which are the truth, a fact and has a basis.

Lastly, Peter 3:15-17 says, And consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, also wrote to you, speaking of these things as he does in all his letters. In them there are some things hard to understand that the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, just as they do the other scriptures. Therefore, beloved, since you are forewarned, be on your guard not to be led into the error of the unprincipled and to fall from your own stability.

Therefore, people who are involved in the sharing of ideas about the things in the bible is susceptible to destruction. The bible imparts too that anyone who dares to give his opinion about biblical passages more so, lead groups of people, all of them shall be responsible of the consequences of such action. And by doing so, an unfounded faith is established. Some thought that by teaching the gospel, they are doing a good thing without understanding that the bible also says that doing a good thing does not necessarily mean that you are doing the right and holy.

Actually, the issue of worldwide flood, of how the flood took place and its boundaries, was mentioned in this article to prove a point that there really are implications of giving a false idea that becomes a source of debate, confusion and more fallacy. Indeed, this shouldn't have been the case should these people read more and understand what the bible imparts about the flood.

What makes the flood event part of the bible? Because God said so and He does it. God cannot lie! And if He mentioned about it, like that of salvation, it is tantamount to a realisation, that He meant what He say. There is really salvation that is to happen and there is a path leading to it. That is why we need to read, per Revelation 1:3.

In conclusion, it would have been practical, logical, and biblical should those false preachers have kept their ideas to themselves rather than to lead themselves and other soul in peril.

My place is situated around this area.

Indeed, it is a frightening thought that maybe someone else sees me or even that little private thing that I make in my own room.

Well, what the heck? When the books are opened, what I did in this world will all be revealed, come Judgment Day.

When I am all alone, something strikes my head. I thought of myself in the future, looking back of what I did in the past. But why can I twist the events as they happen? And why do my knowledge is limited to what I did already and still unsure of what happens next?

I think that no matter what the scenario is, considering the "now" and that I am aware of my action, I shall be liable for all of it. I pray that my angel and myself always walk to the path where God leads.

I just came out from precinct after voting and left wondering how those politicians will get back the money, effort, and time they spent during the campaign. Will their meager salary suffice to pay for what they spent should they win? In retrospect to previous elections, graft and corruption became popular source funds for election campaign. What a wicked thing to do!

Nevertheless, I did my part, I voted. And it is just one part of the stages in the development of my country. And part of it is to hope and to pray for a brighter future. But does it end here if we are really pushing for our societies' welfare?

I recall a verse mentioned by former Chief Justice Davide about the conditions given by God found at 2 Chronicles 7:14-22 (NIV) that God's people should know Him by seeking his face too. But he never really expounded on the meaning of the verse. Generally, you would think that it is just about a change in leadership and a people power in EDSA, where people gather in front of the giant idol. It is definitely more than that, it is also imparts of a change on belief, a big shift to a more logical, reasonable paradigm. Letting go of our own understanding and seeking God's face is the right thing to do to start off because when you seek God's face, it is to seek His righteousness and His kingdom.

Have we started humbling ourselves so we can see His face? If not, we are just another Juan Tamad, an easy-go-lucky-fool who is hoping and waiting for a guava fruit to fall to his mouth, doing nothing but lie at his back. Worse is, the fruit fell and choked him.

Metamorphosis

We are caterpillars that digest the life out of what this world offers. But then again, we will envelope ourselves into a cocoon, a phase that shall close in on us, sooner or later.

Metamorphosis, a phase wherein some of us will dry like leaves and fall to the ground to fill the dusts, blown by the wind. Some of us will hibernate and wake up to embrace the wind, the everlasting life, together with them that never really slept, the next phase of the great plan.

While others will not even remember anything of this world of flesh, save them that are damned eternally. To those who knew the plan, we know that there is a time for everything.

However, I am bothered, as this world tries to mutate our being while predators try to eat the life out of us as we crawl the branches of this materialistic world.

Some of us, tend to hold ourselves on to this world and fails to focus on the real meaning of life. Have we asked ourselves of which reality are we sticking and crawling on to? We must need to open our eyes and start to be curious, to discover that Life has an instruction for us to live by.

We are servants, those that follow the instruction, not by our own understanding but by the Maker's will. Then, we shall be called His sons. Angels are not meant to marry and some of us will be like them.

The colors on our wings will shine. Would that be in blinding rays of gold or silver? I do not know yet, for this eyes of mine is yet to be in spirit.

Nevertheless I am truly grateful that I have a glimpse of what I can become. I need to strengthen my wings for I shall fly sooner than anyone of you thinks.

Thus, let us all weave the silk of faith while continuing to ask for His divine guidance.

Earth II, anyone?

I have watched tv series that cater to those sci-fi fanatics that imparts possibilities of another habitable planets aside from earth. What does the bible says about this idea?

"...In the book of Acts 17:26-27, it is written – “And He has made all nations of men of one blood to dwell on all the face of the earth, ordaining fore-appointed seasons and boundaries of their dwelling, to seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after Him and find Him, though indeed He is not far from each one of us.”

Job 38:4, it says: “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell if you have understanding! Who has set its measurements, for you know? Or who has stretched the line on it? On what are its bases sunk, or who cast its cornerstone…” After all, the universe is the handy work of God’s hand. Psalms 19:1-3 has this to say: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor are there words; their voice is not heard.”

Undoubtedly, there are other planets in our own galaxy and in billion other galaxies, but the reason why God created man on Earth from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7) is because it is the only planet in the entire universe wherein human life will comfortably fit. Think of this: The best place for your eyes is where it is now. Put them a little below, i.e., in the belly or thighs and you can imagine how ugly your person will be. Put your nose or ears in other places of your body and you will not be a work of art, as written in the book of Hebrews 2:6-7.

“But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:” Human efforts and resources, which scientists devote in searching for other worlds that can sustain life, will be futile! Let us search, instead, from the Holy Scriptures the kingdom and the righteousness of God and discover a world called a “new Earth” where righteousness, peace, and love dwell (2 Peter 3:13).

Ten things you need to know about the Pandemic Flu

1. Pandemic influenza is different from avian influenza.
2. Influenza pandemics are recurring events.
An influenza pandemic is a rare but recurrent event. Three pandemics occurred in the previous century: “Spanish influenza” in 1918, “Asian influenza” in 1957, and “Hong Kong influenza” in 1968. The 1918 pandemic killed an estimated 40–50 million people worldwide. That pandemic, which was exceptional, is considered one of the deadliest disease events in human history. Subsequent pandemics were much milder, with an estimated 2 million deaths in 1957 and 1 million deaths in 1968.
A pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus emerges and starts spreading as easily as normal influenza – by coughing and sneezing. Because the virus is new, the human immune system will have no pre-existing immunity. This makes it likely that people who contract pandemic influenza will experience more serious disease than that caused by normal influenza.
3. The world may be on the brink of another pandemic.
Health experts have been monitoring a new and extremely severe influenza virus – the H5N1 strain – for almost eight years. The H5N1 strain first infected humans in Hong Kong in 1997, causing 18 cases, including six deaths. Since mid-2003, this virus has caused the largest and most severe outbreaks in poultry on record. In December 2003, infections in people exposed to sick birds were identified.
Since then, over 100 human cases have been laboratory confirmed in four Asian countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Viet Nam), and more than half of these people have died. Most cases have occurred in previously healthy children and young adults. Fortunately, the virus does not jump easily from birds to humans or spread readily and sustainably among humans. Should H5N1 evolve to a form as contagious as normal influenza, a pandemic could begin.

6. Medical supplies will be inadequate.
Supplies of vaccines and antiviral drugs – the two most important medical interventions for reducing illness and deaths during a pandemic – will be inadequate in all countries at the start of a pandemic and for many months thereafter. Inadequate supplies of vaccines are of particular concern, as vaccines are considered the first line of defence for protecting populations. 7. Large numbers of deaths will occur.
Historically, the number of deaths during a pandemic has varied greatly. Death rates are largely determined by four factors: the number of people who become infected, the virulence of the virus, the underlying characteristics and vulnerability of affected populations, and the effectiveness of preventive measures. Accurate predictions of mortality cannot be made before the pandemic virus emerges and begins to spread. All estimates of the number of deaths are purely speculative.
WHO has used a relatively conservative estimate – from 2 million to 7.4 million deaths – because it provides a useful and plausible planning target. This estimate is based on the comparatively mild 1957 pandemic. Estimates based on a more virulent virus, closer to the one seen in 1918, have been made and are much higher. However, the 1918 pandemic was considered exceptional.
8. Economic and social disruption will be great.
9. Every country must be prepared.
10. WHO will alert the world when the pandemic threat increases.

Part of my point though was that there is no "right" answer in biblical interpretation. All interpretations are influenced by the cultures of philosophies of men. We discover meaning and truth through those interpretations.

Take the Hagar and Sarah example - in the bible there are two separate interpretations of it (the historical account and Paul's allegory). Is one more right or more true than the other? I think not - they both hold truths of different kinds.

I disagree with your first statement. Let me correct it by saying that "there is no "right" answer in anybody's interpretation if not interpreted biblically. Let the bible interpret itself. Paul's interpretation is biblically correct.

Yes, all interpretations are influenced by the cultures of philosophies of men. That's why up to now, many were lead to the idealism and false interpretation of the law. But who will discover the meaning and truth of the scriptures? Of course those who received that gift to understand. It is not the intelligent who is given the wisdom and understanding but those with divine guidance, those that were called!

Your statement is correct when you said: "Take the Hagar and Sarah example - in the bible there are two separate interpretations of it (the historical account and Paul's allegory). Is one more right or more true than the other? I think not - they both hold truths of different kinds."

But since your way of comparative analysis of how Paul interpreted the Sarah and Hagar instance does not necessarily mean that other people can interpret it too! What I mean is that it does not follow that should other misinterpret the Word of God, Paul might have misinterpreted it. Do not compare Paul to those false teachers. Those interpreters now, who the bible calls false prophets, have distorted the scriptures.

Paul's interpretation came from God! Paul has heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell! You will know this should you have read the bible fully.

Do you know your God?

One of the wisdom I learned through our Presiding Minister, brother Eliseo Soriano, is to know, search and learn about my God first. Because knowing God, makes me realize my limitation as a human being, my obligations, and responsibilities. I learned to read the scriptures so that I will have the wisdom and understanding to differentiate the Word of Truth from inventions made by man.

One of the inventions, even you can notice, is the title false prophets use. Their followers address them opposite of what Jesus taught:

Matthew 23
8But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

So, Jesus said to them and their likes:

15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'

How about you? Do you know your god? Do you know God? Can you distinguish inventions preached by your ministers, priest, pastors, preachers, teacher, etc?

1 Juan 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Is it enough to believe that you know your God because you love your neighbor, or your wife, or your family etc.?

I have read a blog by Julie Clawson on her post entitled, "Biblical Interpretation, Language, and the Big Picture," and she ended up saying, "If people had a bit of perspective, a glimpse of the big picture, would such hateful and hurtful programs like the English only ones ever be introduced? I know I'm naive and idealistic, but I just wish people could see how small these petty arguments are in light of the big picture.Rant over for the moment. Or perhaps, fittingly, I should end with Caliban's words to Prosperso - "You taught me language; and my profit on't/ Is, I know how to curse."

Now, what I am insinuating here is that, no matter what the language used in the bible, as long as you interpret the bible in you own understanding, you will surely fall into the ditch together with the group you are leading.

What is our responsibility as Christians? We should not be a blind follower. We should test everything and hold to the truth and avoid every kind of evil. Now those who wanted to ban all other language in favor of english are those who have no understanding of the Scriptures. What does the scripture say about having different languages? What does God wanted to impart about this?

Do we really need only to believe and believe to this phrase: "and once saved always save"? To whom shall we believe? Who shall speak of what God said for us to believe? Let us hear what Apostle Paul said about believing and salvation:

Romans 11:7...
7What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened, 8as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear,down to this very day."

They merchandise the word of God

I noticed, as I browse from one blog to another, that preachers rumble about their views of the Word of God in the form of a blog. They also exchange scriptural idealism based on their own understanding. They too formed circle of friends through blogs and within advertise each others' merchandise through comment-posting. What do you think are their merchandise? They sell their books containing their views about the gospel!

From their blogs, some allow comments outside of their circle, but some really delete comments that oppose their views. You can try to browse and see for yourselves.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17 says:

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God

But how about the aroma that these peddlers spreads? It stinks for us who understands the Truth:

Ecclesiastes 10:1-3
1 As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.
2 The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.
3 Even as he walks along the road, the fool lacks sense and shows everyone how stupid he is.

Imagine, these peddlers does not only write a little folly but a whole book or more! But time will come that they shall weep, unfortunately not because they received the judgement for their folly but because no one buys their merchandise.

Revelation 18:11-13,19
the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, 12cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, 13cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls. 19And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, "Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth!For in a single hour she has been laid waste. 20Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets,for God has given judgment for you against her!"

Their hearts were hardened already. Can we just believe to be saved? To whom shall we believe in? Who shall speak in behalf of God? Let us hear what Apostle Paul said about believing and salvation on my next post.

I want to reason with God

Please allow me to give the full verse of the chapter you mentioned

Isaiah 1:18-20
18Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Yeah, the things that our eyes can see prove that there is a God who created them all and the hidden things of this world and the world to come as we are incapable of creating those things.

God wants us to to reason with him, He even invited us. But how can we speak with Him? Do you want to reason with God? Or is it enough with you to know that... though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…” but never really intended to know what God meant by this. There is a wisdom in this statement. He alone has the explanation the reason why he wants to reason with us. And of course, there are a lot of things to talk about! I myself have a lot of questions in mind, and so are you!

Have you thought of how God communicates with us? Of course, not through angels because the bible has been made already.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

But, 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Let us avoid making up stories or fables. It is not profitable for the soul. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

I have a question and it goes like this, does God really sings? I do not know yet but I will wait for the answer same as I did and learned the answer to this question, "is there anything that God cannot do?" Of course if you are a critical thinker, more so, have a biblical way of thinking, you will find this question valid, as a diligent student of the Word of God.

Why do you think the heavens are above us. It seems so near yet so far for we cannot touch it by our mere hands, but can just look at it and marvel of its beauty. That is one way to prove how Great God is:

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

But He wants us to reason with Him! He wants our sins washed to the extent of leaving it spotless. Have you ask yourselves how He can do this? Is there a process of purifying oneself even we have been blemished? Can we purify ourselves alone? When can we start? How can we start?

All of my questions have answers, I was just stating that doctrines found in the bible are explained therein too. Every word or statement we give must have a biblical basis, more so when we profess that we know God.

Well, all your comments were based on what you think, but can we profit from what you think is right and wrong, your idealism. Or can we profit more from what the bible say on what is right and what is wrong? Of course, critical thinking is needed but, the conclusion should not be based on what you think, but what the bible say. Let the bible explain itself not ourselves. If the bible say something more so about the great signs and wonders, even the gift of healing, then ask the bible for its explanation too!

This is robert's statement: The gifts, on the other hand, are pushed aside and neglected and as a result people in the mainline church are scared or “weirded out” by the gifts and basically live content in ignorance of this topic that the Bible seems to regard as important. So I fight for them, and all the more vigorously, because it is badly needed at this time.

Robert, remember, Jesus has warned already of the false prophets that shall rise after Him. Also, even during and before He said about the warning, there are false prophets already, but what is so great about this false prophets that will rise after Jesus or in the future? The false prophets will use these doctrine of gifts even healing and miracle, and signs and wonders too, to fool people on believing on them, to depart from the truth, even the elect.

A berean who never grows in faith

Although Mark mentioned something about bereans, I hope that he is not a member of the bereans, apologetics research ministry. I am just sadden on how they placed the title of our tv and radio program, Ang Dating Daan as one of the local cults of christianity. But my brothers, one thing I am proud to say, if one is really a reader of the bible, who thinks logical and biblical, they would know that Ang Dating Daan is a truth caster!

This is some of what they said:

Things to Remember When Witnessing to an ADD Member

1. Do not witness with an ADD member unless you yourself are grounded in the orthodox faith of the Scripture.
2. Always say “you” and not “your group” to avoid him/her from thinking that you are attacking their “church.”
3. Know what they believe so that the person will not think that you are ignorant of their teaching. From my many years of experience, a number of cultist tend to lend a listening ear when I tell them that I usually encounters inconsistencies in their groups doctrines when it does not square with the teachings of the Bible. This becomes my springboard to an open discussion.
4. Focus on one subject at a time like about “God,” “salvation,” and “full deity and humanity of Christ.” They have the tendency to jump from one topic to another.
5. If possible, have someone intercede for you while you discuss with them or you can pray and listen at the same time while they are talking so the Holy Spirit would move on your behalf. Always remember, you cannot convert a cultist in just one sitting but you can “plant a seed of doubt” while some Christians pours the “water” next time knowing that someday God will make that seed grow and cause that person to be saved.

See my brethren, the evil spirits are scared of us and of our God! I find these self professed bereans, as they call themselves, very ridiculous, comparing themselves with the Bereans from the bible. Maybe they are bereans but not the Bereans who were converted to Christianity. A Berean in the bible is what you call the people who live in Berea. They were described in the bible as a group of people who received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. While those Bereans who went further to the next step of their study habits, those who believed and were baptised in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost were now called Christians. Being a Berean alone is different from being a Christian my friend. As Christians, we went through the process to become one. We study and keep on studying and follow all the commandments of Jesus which He received from God, whatsoever he commanded! Would you opt to remain as a Berean per se that learned of the Truth but never really believed, or a Christian?

Hi elman!
I took a look at the site you link but it’s all video and I’m on a dial-up currently so I won’t be able to watch anything until I can go somewhere with a higher-speed hookup. (I have to add that it’s very frustrating that the site is set up to “hold” browsing and prevent backing off the page. Very frustrating.) Technically I could view it on this one, but it would take longer than the time I have available to load it. Thank you though!
I wanted to learn more so I did a search on your church to find out what I could, and while I was able to find a Wikipedia entry, it wasn’t extremely informative.
I did some more searching and found a tremendously disturbing report here. Please let me know if any of this is true. Even while searching several sites, including your churche’s home site, I don’t see him calling himself “Apostle”, which would be the contention point regarding my comment on “Pulpit”.
The office of Apostle has closed and I have not seen a single individual who goes by the title who doesn’t stray from the Word in very blatant ways. I don’t mean the disputable things, I mean in BIG ways.

It is important that you yourself be able to answer questions about what you believe, if you can’t, how can others take your belief seriously?
You list quote after quote, but you must make yourself humble to God’s Word too elman. Remember 2 Timothy 2:15“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. ”God is faithful to open the eyes of them who diligently seek Him. Seek Him yourself my friend, don’t just let another man do the talking. God loves His children and is willing to help them all learn His word thoroughly.
God wants each of us, while certainly under the authority of a good shepherd but still very personally, to know Him.
Scripture shows us that God gives wisdom to those who ask faithfully. You are encouraged to ask Him for wisdom, and I pray you will ask Him for wisdom in applying the whole of the Gospel, because it is awesome!

Mark, when you say humble, what do you understand about that word?

~To submit to it as the authority as given by God, Who is the ultimate authority, and gave us His Word for understanding.

I wonder why you did not let my post about apostleship stand in this comment so that those reading would get the full picture of where we are coming from.

~Because I didn’t post about Apostleship here and that had nothing to do with what I did post. I’m also not talking about Apostleship so it would only confuse things.

Anyways, there are a lot to learn from the bible. I am too is a student of the bible. Based on my previous word with you, I invited you to check again about us, our website, because you said that you have read other site saying scary things about us after your PC has not completely uploaded our site.

~If the only way to hear what your site has to offer is audibly and visually, and there’s nothing concrete in print except what I find that has been so disturbing, I don’t think I’ll ever see it because I just don’t have the ability to sit and listen for long periods of time. Why doesn’t your group put what it believes into print? I have offered the links to what was online. Have you yet looked at them?

You know, there is really a thin line that separates hypocrisy from being humble. Let me read the verse you gave: 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”Well, I am presenting myself approved to God not to any man. But since Paul advised this to a person who will lead a group of believers in the future, he wanted Timothy to make sure that what he will say is not false. And to the last part of the post that you did not allow to remain standing or posted, I mentioned that if I am wrong, we have a Presiding Minister who can correct us. This is also one way of inviting you so that you will hear our doctrine, and can find out how the word of God shall be known to the Gentiles!

~I already know. God has given us His Holy Spirit to mark us as His and to be our Counselor who explains the Truth to us. What will you do when your PM dies, as we all will unless Christ returns beforehand? There is a way to know if you are wrong. Study the Word, pray for God’s wisdom, study with other believers who have walked in the faith and studied what it says, then check to see if what THEY have said holds to the already revealed truth of the Word. If it does, it doesn’t make them perfect, it just confirms the Word.

I hope you can visit our site again so that you can witness or know for yourself how we understand the scriptures. Since the proof of being of God is knowing and understanding the scriptures:

Since each person is saved individually, and God gives His Spirit to give understanding, why then would He want us to fall back ont he knowledge of another, fallible man like us? We can learn from wiser people, and they can have a degree of authority over us, but the responsiblity of our walk with God is ours. From the Old Testament to the New, God repeatedly says to turn to Him and NOT to idols or men. The way you have spoken of your PM, it sounds like he is the final voice of authority for your group. If that is true, it violates God’s principles.

And what is your basis for saying at your sidebar this statement: “I’ll do my best here and on the show to offer the best, but I count on you to be Berean, for my sake and yours, and the glory of God in Christ Jesus.” I hope that after you visited our website and learn of the doctrines discussed therein, you will not remain just a Berean, but a Christian.

You know, those verses I mentioned proves one thing, when we talk or speak, we have a basis, which is the bible. If you will only listen to the doctrine discussed by our Presiding Minister, you will learn that we do not want to be accursed for relaying a false doctrine but rather we want people to think the same way, rational and biblical.

By doing this, we can prove that the bible is the word of God and it does not need other literature to interpret it, but rather we let the scripture interpret itself.
Getting back to the verse you mentioned before, 2 Timothy 2:15:“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth”
This was advised to Timothy by Paul because he will not be with Timothy always. He advised Timothy to accurately handle the word of truth because he is a person that leads a group of Christians.

~Also, since he advises other Christians to study and commends those who do, it’s good practice for even those Christians who will not lead a group.

Being a Berean alone is different from being a Christian my friend. Berean is what you call the people who live in Berea, and those Bereans who believed and was baptised in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost were called Christians. As Christians, we study and follow all the commandments of Jesus which He received from God, whatsoever he commanded! Would you opt to remain as Berean per se, or a Christian?

~You have misunderstood my friend, and perhaps that is a function of language, perhaps not. I use a figure of speech when I say to “be Berean”. I mean to copy this aspect of their behavior. The Scriptures contain many figures of speech and to fully grasp the ideas presented we have to be able to identify them and the thought behind them. We know that God is not a bird, nor does the Father have a physical body, yet He is described as having wings in Psalm 91. I am a Christian, sealed by the Holy Spirit of God, who tries to behave as a Berean in my study habits. You must learn these figures of speech to see through an issue. By the way, there is no reason to believe that EVERY Berean accepted Christ. We aren’t given a number or even a proportion within the pages of Scripture.

You know, I am glad that you have discovered of how our enemies in faith finds us. Did they say good things about us? One of the accusations against your group is that your leader doesn’t believe in the Trinity. One God in three persons. True or not?
Does he teach that ladies will not enter heaven unless they become a man? Yes or no?
Does he teach that Christ was at one point, sinful? Yes or no?

I hope you let my post stand as it is before you present my post with your comments in between.
The reason why I have mentioned apostleship is because you are looking for an apostle. There’s no apostle now, save Jesus Christ. Although the apostle in the church of God is waiting for the coming of Jesus Christ, they have written of what God commanded through Jesus Christ, found in the holy scripture. So, people need not invent apostles nowadays. They just need to join the Church of God mentioned by Apostle Paul.

Now, satan may use the words in scriptures, but if you are diligent enough with the help of the holy spirit, you can distinguish if it is the devil who is talking. Like when he spoken with Eve and Jesus. You will know if it is the devil speaking. Be guided of the verses in the scripture including this one:
John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

It is the doctrine that distinguishes a Christian from an anti-Christ!
I wonder if you are a Berean. I saw of the websites you visited when you are unable to visit ours fully, was a berean website. I do not need to comment on that site, that site shows how they fear the church of God!

Are you asking on what we shall do if our Presiding Minister dies? Actually we pray to God that he let our PM live until the coming of Jesus Christ, but God’s will be done. No one knows if I die sooner than our PM. But what I am certain is, that no one can let me turn my back from the faith, except myself.

~With all due respect elman, I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m not “looking for an apostle” because I believe the office is closed. There will be no more apostles according to what I see in Scripture, and I clearly said that in the other post. Why you even said that is very strange to me. I said over and over that we can know the truth ourselves.
Your comments are very confusing and still do not address the questions I asked. I don’t know why you won’t, but for that reason and because I’m not going to just do a useless back and forth, I’m going to ask that your next response clarify the things I’ve asked or I must close this comments section. While he has not formally studied so-called hermeneutics that are the fare of secular schools, his level of understanding shows an awesome depth that each topic - unheard of before from all corners of this world - is as valuable as his next topic would be. The Last Apostle based on the Bible

This is the question: Are there still apostles in the church today? Nathan then gave foolish statements. Why did I say so? Let me just highlight what he said from "The Pulpit" under the post Peter, Paul, and Murray? (Part 1)

1. There are at least five reasons why I believe there are no longer any apostles in the church today
2. (and in fact have not been since the death of the apostle John).
3. We’ll unpack these reasons over the next several days.

All of Nathan's statement are erroneous, biblical speaking or based on the bible!

I wonder what the outcome will be of this discussion? The author should have said that Jesus Christ is the Apostle and the High Priest that Christians profess! Then the readers, even the author, have been saved from all errors that will result from these pre-conceived ideas they discussed. But do not worry, let me justify my statements biblically speaking. Do we need a Preacher or a reader of the bible in this times?

Ecclesiastes 10:1 — "Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savor: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honor."

Am I disrespectful if I said that a blind who leads a blind will both fall into the ditch? Is the bible correct by saying, that the falling will happen should the blind leads a blind?

You still have time to ponder and read more and pray that God will lead you to the old paths where the righteous walks and guided by the spirit. Jeremiah 6:16 states: Thus says the LORD: Stand beside the earliest roads, ask the pathways of old Which is the way to good, and walk it; thus you will find rest for your souls. But they said, "We will not walk it."

And I want to add this: And those who wanting to be teachers of the law, but without understanding either what they are saying or what they assert with such assurance, 1Tim 1:7. I am not adding insult to injury but rather stating that the bible is frank to its readers.

A person who gives sermon to a group of people, it is not enough to say that, "I do not know." People look up to this leaders' for guidance. So let me end this comment with some verses from the Bible: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 1 Peter 3:15. A preacher, a teacher, a reader, or whoever guides a student of the bible should always be ready to give an answer to every man that asks a reason of the hope that is in you. Look in the book of the LORD and read: No one of these shall be lacking, For the mouth of the LORD has ordered it, and his spirit shall gather them there, Isaiah 34:16.
While 2 Peter 3:15-17 (KJV) warns that: 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

Best of all, do we need a Preacher, or a reader? A preacher for me says of what he thinks is best, from his point of view and pre-conceived ideas and will usually say, "I do not know," or point finger to something to explain the reason why he does not understand. But a reader says, based on Rev 1:3, Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

For those of you who has questions which cannot be answered by your pastors, preachers, priests or anyone that ministers in your church, you just need to seek out from the book of the Lord. You know what, I am also a student of the Word of God. It is just that I took the initiative to answer what you lack based on the bible. And those things I know, I learned from our Presiding Minister in the Church.

Ang kapangyarihan at tanda kung sa Dios galing

Kung loloobin ng Panginoon, pupunta ako sa inyo sa lalong madaling panahon nang sa gayon ay malaman ko ang kapangyarihan ng mga nagyayabang at hindi ang kanilang salita. Ito ay sapagkat ang paghahari nga ng Diyos ay hindi sa salita kundi sa kapangyarihan. Ano ang ibig ninyo? Ibig ba ninyong pumunta ako riyan na may tungkod, o pumunta akong may pag-ibig at may espiritu ng pagpapakumbaba? 1 Mga Taga-Corinto 4:19-20

Meron po kasi na taga Jesus Miracle Crusade (JMCIM) na sinasabi ang talatang ito para patunay sa pagpapagaling at pagpapalabas ng masamang espiritu sa taong demon possessed. Hindi ko po alam ang sagot sa 1 Cor 4:20, kung ano ang power o kapangyarihan na tinutukoy roon kaya nagtanong po ako sa kapatid. Sabi ng kapatid na LM, since ayaw niyang mangahas sumagot, nagtanong na lang siya sa manggagawa na naka-online, kaya pinadala na lang niya sa aking ang sagot sa yahoo messenger. Heto po ang usapan namin:

Ang tinutukoy na kapangyarihan sa talata ay ang Kapangyarihan ng Kaharian ng Dios. Kasi, hindi nila itinaas ang basa sa naunang talata... taasan nila yung basa hindi isang sitas lang ang dapat na basahin para makapagpatunay. Pagpapagaling kasi ang banat ng mga born again agad.

1Cor 4:19-21 Nguni't ako'y paririyan agad sa inyo, kung loloobin ng Panginoon; at aking aalamin, hindi ang salita ng nangagpapalalo, kundi ang kapangyarihan. 20Sapagka't ang kaharian ng Dios ay hindi sa salita, kundi sa kapangyarihan. 21Anong ibig ninyo? paririyan baga ako sa inyo na may panghampas, o sa pagibig, at sa espiritu ng kahinahunan?

Paririyan daw po si Pablo, ang tinutukoy po ay ang kapangyarihan ng Kaharian ng Dios dahil may mga palalo noong una na nagsasalita ng kapalaluan. Sabi ni Pablo, "ako'y paririyan agad sa inyo. Kung loloobin ng Panginoon at aking aalamin, hindi ang salita ng nangagpapalalo, kundi ang kapangyarihan." Aalamin hindi ang nagsalita ng kapalaluan kundi titingnan niya kung may kapangyarihan yuong nagsasalita, dahil ang kaharian ng Dios hindi ng salita kundi ng kapangyarihan. Sa kaharian ng Dios may kapangyarihan na maraming sakop:

1 Cor 12:28 At ang Dios ay naglagay ng ilan sa iglesia, una-una'y mga apostol, ikalawa'y mga propeta, ikatlo'y mga guro, saka mga himala, saka mga kaloob na pagpapagaling, mga pagtulong, mga pamamahala, at iba't ibang mga wika.

1Cor 12:29 Lahat baga'y mga apostol? lahat baga'y mga propeta? lahat baga'y mga guro? lahat baga'y mga manggagawa ng mga himala?

1Cor 12:30 May mga kaloob na pagpapagaling baga ang lahat? nangagsasalita baga ang lahat ng mga wika? lahat baga ay nangagpapaliwanag?

May pagpapagaling talaga sa Iglesia kaya lang po sa panahon po ngayon hindi na po ito ipinang-aanyaya sa tao kundi ang aral. Ito'y binanggit sa Mateo 24:24 - Sapagka't may magsisilitaw na mga bulaang Cristo, at mga bulaang propeta, at mangagpapakita ng mga dakilang tanda at mga kababalaghan; ano pa't ililigaw, kung maaari, pati ng mga hirang.

Isang salita lang talaga ang mawala o makaligtaan, maliligaw talaga ang tao. Sa panahon po ngayon, ganito ang sabi:

Kung ang sinomang tao ay nagiibig gumawa ng kaniyang kalooban, ay makikilala niya ang turo, kung ito'y sa Dios, o kung ako'y nagsasalita na mula sa aking sarili. John 7:17

Imbento lang po talaga ang pagle-lay hands ng mga bulaang propeta ngayon upang magpagaling. Sa turo na po makikilala ngayon kung galing sa Dios. Kapag sinabi nila na wala tayong pagpapagaling, actually meron po dahil kauganay tayo nang unang iglesia, na kinaroroonan ng apostol, himala, wika, etc. Dahil kauganay nga po tayo nang unang Iglesia, meron tayo ng mga nabanggit na inilagay ng Dios doon.

Siya na nagsasalita mula sa kaniyang sarili ay naghahanap ng kaniyang sariling kaluwalhatian. Siya na naghahanap ng kaluwalhatian ng nag-utos sa kaniya ay totoo. Sa kaniya ay walang kalikuan. Juan 7:18

Ang Bahay ng Dios

Ngunit kung ako ay maaantala sa pagpariyan sa iyo, alam mo ang paraan kung paano ang dapat na maging asal mo sa bahay ng Diyos na siyang iglesiya ng Diyos na buhay. Ito ang haligi at saligan ng katotohanan. 1 tim 3:15

Sa bahay ng Dios po kayo maghanap. Ang bahay ng Dios ay ang iglesia o katawan Deut 12:5, 2 Cro 7:16, 1 tim 3:15, Heb 3:6, 1 Cor 12:13, Ezra 7:23, Col 1:18. Ang dalisay na relihion at walang dungis sa harapan ng ating Dios at Ama ay ito: James 1:27. Anomang iniutos ng Dios ng langit, gawing lubos sa bahay ng Dios ng langit, Ezra7:23; gaya ng bautismo. Paano ka magba-bautismo kung hindi na kailangan ng Iglesia?

1 Juan 1:3 Siya na aming nakita at narinig ay isinasalaysay namin sa inyo upang kayo rin naman ay magkaroon ng pakikipag-isa sa amin. Tunay na ang pakikipag-isa ay sa Ama at sa kaniyang Anak na si Jesucristo. Kailangang umanib hindi sa aming samahan, kundi sa Iglesia ng Dios na binabanggit ni Pablo sa biblia.

Mga Himala at Bulaang Propeta

At binanggit ko na rin po sa inyo na galing na ako sa Jesus Miracle Crusade (JMCIM) kaya nakita ko po ang tinutukoy ninyong himala: ang pagpapagaling at pagpapalayas ng mga demon sa mga napo-possessed na member diyan at 'yung kasama naming bata na inalihan ng tikbalang raw.

Hindi ba't isang kababalaghan ang mga iyan kung iisipin ng pangkaraniwang tao na hindi nakaintindi o nakabasa ng biblia. Hayag namang nagbigay si Jesus Christ ng babala tungkol sa mga bagay na iyan.

Gaya ng tinukoy ninyo sa Mateo 24:4-5 na nasusulat, At sumagot si Jesus at sinabi sa kanila, Mangagingat kayo na huwag kayong mailigaw ninoman. Sapagka't marami ang magsisiparito sa aking pangalan, na mangagsasabi, Ako ang Cristo; at ililigaw ang marami.

Basahin niyo rin po ang Mateo 24:24-25 at maiintindihan ninyo na isa rin po kayo sa nadaya ng bulaang propeta. Heto po ang sabi sa talata: Sapagka't may magsisilitaw na mga bulaang propeta, at mangagpapakita ng mga dakilang tanda at mga kababalaghan; ano pa't ililigaw kung maaari, pati ng mga hirang. Ash Wednesdays and the hypocrites

Matthew 15:3
Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

Mark 7:

6He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
" 'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.' 8You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

For me, as a Christian, a member in the Church of God, Ash Wednesday is a day that was taught by priests not by God. That day can be compared to a horror flick that you watch in the middle of the night. It seems to symbolize and commemorate how, after crucifying Jesus on the cross, the Roman Catholic Church cremates him and put his remains on the forehead of the catholic followers.

Colossians 2 (NIV)

18Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. 19He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.

20Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: 21"Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"? 22These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. 23Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Is Ash Wednesday another Catholic tradition to commemorate Jesus' suffering? How cruel is this? They seemed unaware as they exhibit themselves, everywhere wearing this shocking symbol of treachery...violence!

Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

But when you ask them of what ash wednesday is all about, they will say that this day is a day for fasting and abstinence. Expect that those Catholics around will then, even without asking their opinion, will begin to discuss how they will or have organized or scheduled their meals. But what does the bible really says about fasting and abstinence?

In Isaiah 58, you will read:

1 "Shout it aloud, do not hold back.
Raise your voice like a trumpet.
Declare to my people their rebellion
and to the house of Jacob their sins.

2 For day after day they seek me out;
they seem eager to know my ways,
as if they were a nation that does what is right
and has not forsaken the commands of its God.
They ask me for just decisions
and seem eager for God to come near them.

3 'Why have we fasted,' they say,
'and you have not seen it?
Why have we humbled ourselves,
and you have not noticed?'
"Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please
and exploit all your workers.

4 Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife,
and in striking each other with wicked fists.
You cannot fast as you do today
and expect your voice to be heard on high.

5 Is this the kind of fast I have chosen,
only a day for a man to humble himself?
Is it only for bowing one's head like a reed
and for lying on sackcloth and ashes?
Is that what you call a fast,
a day acceptable to the LORD ?

6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?

7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe him,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
"If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk,

10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.

11 The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

What does the bible imparts about fasting? Do we exhibit this holy work for people to see?

Matthew 6:1-6

1"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matthew 6:16-21

16"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 17But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Are you a hypocrite? I stopped being one.

Luke 16:15
He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

I wonder why...

After trying to look at some preachers with blogspots, I noticed that they keep on including from their profile the kind of pets they have next to their family. I wonder why, not as I wonder everytime, but just now. Maybe you know. Please try writing your answer on the comments area if you do. I will try to browse again and hoping to find someone with a tag: and I have an adopted "human" son too!

Yes, you are seeing dead people, the remains of the People's Temple Sect after drinking cyanide!

Brother Eli has mentioned this instance as a result when preachers teach false doctrines. This people are a black community led by an American preacher, Jim Jones. Instead of being a true church, the Guinness book of record tagged it as, "mass suicide". I never thought how shocking the scene would be not until now.

A Female Christian's head cover

I have observed that there are a lot of organisations, even churches made by men fight a simple question about the hair cover of a woman and remains unsettled up to these days. Ironically, it's not that simple to many, the reason why they fight and argue about this concern.

Should women wear veils or hats or head covers in the worship assembly today? But if the reason for wearing veils is for prayer, that will imply that it should be worn even outside the assembly, right? If prayer has been a part of Christian women activities in life, would the veil be a part of their body too? Because with her head uncovered, even when shaved, dishonors her head, otherwise: if she has a long hair, it is a glory to her for her hair is given for covering.

Allow me to refresh you of what Paul wrote concerning this tradition and doctrine.

1 Cor 11:2-15 (ESV) said that, 2Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. 3But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, 5but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head--it is the same as if her head were shaven. 6For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head. 7For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. 8For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. 9Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man nor man of woman; 12for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God. 13Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering.

Let me highlight the concern, 1 Cor 11:13-16(KJV) states that, 13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

The verse imparts that women need head cover. And what is this head cover? The answer is found even from the simpliest way, by observing nature. Nature taught us that hair is given to a woman for covering. Thus, we can dispose off the idea of hats, veils, or artificial head covers biblical speaking. Thus the head cover should be as natural as nature teaches, that is, maintaining a long hair that it provided for her. However, if you cut it, then it is no longer naturally long, more so when you shave it. Let it grow, untouched by a scissor.

Even black women can grow their hair given the time.

Therefore, a woman praying who has a long uncut hair is a glory to her as she is able to follow the commandment of Jesus Christ, given by God the Father.

One more thing, 1Cor 11:1-4 states, 1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

Thus, based on the bible, the sign of authority on a woman's head is the uncut hair of a woman that covers her. It is a proof that her man is under Jesus Christ's authority, and she is in the church of God, mentioned by Paul too. Women brings honour to God, above all, by following this commandment. Should a woman has no sign of God's authority, then whose authority is she under?

Now, if you want to be subjected to God's authority, what shall you do? Should women still wear artificial head covers?

Can every woman buy a head cover? Many women in africa does not even got a food to eat.

These are questions that might have been raised by so many who professed that they are female christians, but did their minister, preacher, or anyone in their church answered this with wisdom, authority, conviction, fear and trust in God? If not, then now is the time to ponder if you are in the right church.

Comparing from what St. Paul said about the Lord's Supper: 1 Cor 11:17(ESV) Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. Finally, 1 Cor 11: 16 (KJV) said, If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God.

In the everchanging fashion as a way of life in human history, we cannot help but notice that women become stubborn, consciously or unconsciously, and now is fighting for their right as marginalised sector of the society. This is one of the reasons why things, including head covers, become an issue to them whether to follow it or not. Even in churches made by men, they want to be the pope, the pastor, or the leader.

The essence of women empowerment is to give way for women to attain their potential with the belief that women were so much left behind and it’s high time for them to get out from the back seat.

But this issue is being raised by those who studied economics and social sciences that did not regard the doctrines in the bible.

What I have observed and obviously seen before: women, even in the poorest part of society are able to instill good filipino values in their children.

What about now? As a result of this marginalized ideology, women are working extra hard, up to the point of leaving their kids in the hands of people that primarily concern is the wages paid to them more than caring enough for the kids. Should we consider otherwise, how the love that is shared between family members took different turns. Children were deprived of learning how a love from a parent is. Thus, they become incapable of sharing such intimacy when they finally have their own kids to take care of.

Now, should the essence of marginalism was imparted this way:

To give women a fair chance to learn the doctrine and be able to follow it accordingly,

then, our lives would have been better off. As what Bro Eli imparts to his post that women have a role to play in the church. Actually, this role will end too because like men, women in the church are preparing and also looking forward to the future, when humans become like to angels.

1 Corinthians 15:

51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

What women christian should portray today is not to be leaders or presiding ministers of christian men, but rather be running side by side with christian men that they may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience!

Let us lead by example:

Jesus, lead the church by example

Ministers, leading the brethren by example

Men, leading the family by example

Women, leading their children by example.

church, leading the outsiders by example.

This is how a Christian organization works.

You can outrightly differentiate if a woman is a true Christian, by way of her actions, taste in clothing, values, even her personality.

There is no EGO in her. She knows that she is a servant too like men, but then again, she knows where to place herself. That is because she knows the doctrine.

Even Jesus knows where to place himself:

Philippians 2:

5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This would need another posting but anyways let me ask another subject, should a man wear a veil too when praying? How about a cap? If he wears a cap, would it be alright to wear it on top of his long hair, or on top of his short hair? Is it biblical that he grows a long hair and maintain it like unto a woman too? If he wears a long hair, would it be a glory to him? These questions are clearly explained to us in our Church.
